This bookcase is awesome! I was thrilled with how easy it was to assemble and that it clearly defined each part. It is very sturdy and I don\'t feel like it is going to break after being loaded down with books. It is exactly the right size to fit paperbacks 2 deep on each of the shelves at the top and the bottom shelf/compartment is the right size to hold standard paper sized items upright. Prior to getting this I had stacks of textbooks all over the floor and another bookcase that was groaning under the weight of way too many paperbacks. Now everything has a place, and I am unconcerned about anything being overloaded. Definitely worth the money.

The good: Fairly easy asembly for the experienced dad who has built several similar items. Good appearance in daughters room. The bad: Not the most sturdy of storage shelfs. Several pieces came damaged. Some of the wooden pegs were smaller than the others. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE DIMENSIONS CAREFULLY!! This item was smaller than my wife and I were expecting

This item was delivered with two chips in the wood. Really disappointing as it was a gift. While it is very cute the shelf size is not large enough for tall books so they have to be flipped on their side.

I have bought this shelf three times. One for each of my kids rooms and one for our living room. The product has never arrived damaged. It is sturdy. My husband just adds some wood glue to the pieces held together by the wood pegs. It's not too hard or time consuming to put together. Definitely recommend.

Hard to put together and one divider keeps falling out because the dowels are not long enough to hold it in place. Going to use it since I’ve taken the time to assemble it but I would NOT buy again. Can’t believe I paid what I did!! This is so cheap!

Be aware this is not a target product. Two of the pieces arrived with chipped paint. Instead of providing the replacement parts the company is making me return the whole shelving unit and order a new one. It’s a cute product, it’s a shame their customer service is poor.

This is a nice shelf and very sturdy. My grandchildren love it because they can put their stuffed animals in the bottom bin. Highly recommend and thinking of getting a second one.

It’s tiny!!. Read the reviews and look elsewhere. I can barely fit my toddlers toys into the shelves, and non of her books will fit on the narrow upper cubbies safely. Great for her to reach everything but not actually useful for any decent amount of toy storage.
