There were parts missing. The customer service line suggested I return it and order another. None left to buy. The manufacturer made me send in 7 photos and still did not replace the parts. I'm trying to buy materials to make it work. Very disappointed.

Assembly is awful. The instructions aren’t detailed and nothing is marked to know you have the right part. I am still working to put it together after several hours.

Assembly not for the faint of heart.
I have searched far and wide for a how to video on this cat tree. It does come with instructions. However, I didn’t realize you had to be a structural engineer to put it together. The posts that hold up the first cat house and the second cat house are cut slanted to be able to screw into the wood securely, but holding everything straight while you’re assembling is definitely more than a two person job. After an hour, I got frustrated and had to quit.
