Sturdy frame. Great price.
I read some of the negative reviews and was hesitant to buy it. I figured I could return it even if I had any. I waited a few months before writing a review. So far, none of the issues I've read about in other reviews have occurred, and the bed frame is very sturdy. I used it to transform my antique wood bed frame because it wasn't supporting well enough. Now the wood frame is purely decorative and the metal frame supports all the weight. It nestles perfectly into the wood frame. Other platforms are about 1/2 inch larger (about 0.5 inches) and would not fit my situation. Since there is no way to attach this metal platform to the headboard/footboard, the wood frame "floats" around the metal frame. It works great and did not require me to irreversibly transform my antique furniture.

Maximum number of support rods
I wanted to remove both the box spring and footboard from my mattress. After comparing all the bed frames, I found this one to have the most support rods (equivalent to the box spring) and I liked the rounded corners at the end of the bed. Although it didn't line up with my headboard supports, I was able to easily push the frame with the foam wall pads to hold the headboard in place. The key to the adjustment idea was to avoid hitting the toes/feet against the center support leg (the previous frame didn't have this...my large dog loves his "cave" under the end of the bed to hide in). Also, I embedded different sized foam rods between the wall and the mattress to keep the mattress tight against the wall and headboard...(since the new bed frame is not bolted to the old headboard. This helps to grab the spokes of the headboard and keep my bed "secure"...
