Thank you for your question.Gluten in cosmetics is a common concern among consumers who suffer from gluten sensitivity. and can cause adverse health problems in those who suffer from celiac disease. There is currently no scientific evidence that gluten used in cosmetic products that are not ingested, such as lipstick and lip gloss, is harmful to individuals with celiac disease, including those with the skin form of celiac disease. In 2012, the US Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics published a study under the heading “Gluten in Cosmetics: Is There a Reason for Concern?" that reportedly found no quantifiable gluten in lip products and lotions, each containing at least one ingredient derived from wheat, barley, rye, or oats. Based on the results, the authors concluded that there is no apparent reason for consumers with celiac disease to worry about cosmetic products applied to the skin, such as body lotion, sunscreen, shaving cream, deodorant, makeup and perfume, especially if hands are washed after use.     Unfortunately, I am allergic to this.

    I tried this lip gloss because I was looking for a mild, light pink or coral shade that did not contain a few ingredients that I am allergic to. Unfortunately, after trying two different shades, my lips swelled and became very dry and peeled. It is still puffy after two days. Will have to throw away. I believe it is due to the castor seed oil. This is NOT a safe ingredient.

    Perfect...

    I've been looking for a long time for a lip product that has mineral SPF. I finally found this in the "you make me blush" shade. Note that because it has 7.55% zinc oxide & 2.0% titanium dioxide, it's got a lot of pigment (in other words it's not a clear pink, like its non-spf counterpart is). I like to put it over a darker raspberry shade of lipstick. That turns down the brightness and gives my lips sun protection at the same time, especially when driving. It also works great when I just want to go paler with my lip look. I'm also gonna get the clear one & just wear lipstick over it. I love CoverGirl for being anti-cruelty & cruelty-free. Every brand should be!

    My go to lipstick

    My go to lipstick, super affordable and a nice dupe for the Clinique one but less of a waxy lipstick and more hydrating. It’s a bit brighter than the Clinique though. I tap it on because it can get a bit dark but super flattering nonetheless. Worth your money!

    Unwearable Color

    I love this lip balm in a couple of the non-SPF shades and I was so excited to see an SPF version. Unfortunately, the pink is SO light that it looks bizarre even on me, and I am too light for the lightest Covergirl foundation. It also clings terribly to any dry bits and makes my lips look worse and more dry. Would not recommend to anyone.

    This is a hard pass.

    This was supposed to be a dupe for Clinique black honey and it isn't in the same category in quality or color. It is so stiff and waxy. The pigment does last a long time but it feels terrible on.

    Awful

    Extremely drying and uncomfortable on my lips. The color is not flattering at all. I have very fair skin and light pink’s usually look nice but this is incredibly chalky and opaque. a more sheer pink would have worked better with this product and was what I was expecting from it.
