A: Hello! Thank you for your question. We are sorry to learn that your Simply Ageless Wrinkle Defy Foundation wont open. Were here to help. The purple cap opens like a flap to reveal the sponge for foundation application. The glass top must be twisted off the purple cap to access the foundation inside. Make note of the clockwise arrow at the bottom of the purple cap, this is the direction to twist the product cap off to access the foundation. Lay the product between your palms with the purple cap facing toward the ceiling. Press your palms tightly together and twist your top palm clockwise to remove the purple cap. Purchased a few weeks ago. Sits nicely in skin when applied using a damp sponge. Foundation looks great after 11 hours of wear with no breaking up. Works well on oily skin with minimal need for blotting or powdering during the day. Also has a good, medium coverage when applied with the damp sponge.

I have never been so frustrated about buying a product to wear for a special occasion and not being able to get it open! The lid has some major improvements needed, I see from reviews I'm not the only one with this issue. I had to return and even the cashier couldn't get it open.
