Defective - 1 month ago, Verified purchaser
Crock pot is not uniform and sits farther away from stoneware on one part than in the rest. I had the same crock pot for years but this is a manufacturing defect. The temperature difference in that spot was significant.

Very Unhappy - 4 months ago, Verified purchaser
Horrible. The part the crock sits in is very lightweight and does not sit evenly on the counter. Worse than that, the crock did not fit/sit right in it! It did not sit down in the pot. It actually "wobbles" when you touch it. There is quite a vertical gap! I really didn't think anything could be so wrong with such a BASIC slow cooker. I'm not looking for the Crockpot brand when I replace it.

Another victim of what once was a reliable consumer product, now cheapened to a shadow of its former self. I’ve used crock pots for years and never had any issues. Both our 1980’s model and 2010’s models still work beautifully. We wanted one that was slightly larger so we decided to purchase a new one. It was out of the box for precisely 90 seconds before I decided to return it. As soon as you pull this out of the box, you can feel how chintzy the product is. The metal sides are so flimsy that I could feel them caving in as I pulled the appliance from its packaging. But by far the worst transgression is the fact that there are only THREE FEET on the bottom! Now explain to me why I would want a hot appliance, full of liquid and food, to have an unstable design?! Seriously people?! This is the most ridiculous cost-cutting measure I’ve ever seen. Because of how the feet are situated (see the picture) the whole thing easily rocks back and forth. Perhaps that won’t bother you, but I’m so outraged at the lack of concern for the user experience that I won’t be keeping the item. What a piece of junk.

I've had the 7 quart crock pot for a year and I'm happy with it, however, the printed control labels wiped off even with careful cleaning. Now you can't tell if the knob is pointing to "high" or "warm " without trying to remember how the selections were lined up.
Cheap aluminum quality.

Cheap quality. Outside gets extremely hot. Made out of a cheap aluminum quality that looks like it won't last very long. I like the size of it. Can't control the heat. It does have three settings. The highest cooks very hot very fast so you have to be careful not to burn whatever you're cooking. You definitely cannot put a roast on the high heat for several hours without watching it. The purpose of a crock pot is to not have to watch with your cooking.
Easy but too hot on low

It runs too hot on the low setting. Recipes call for 6-7 hrs on low setting and this crock pot appears to run on high regardless of the setting

There is no light to tell you it's on. When it is on, it is hot enough on the outside surface that I was burned badly enough to blister. I'd buy something else.

I have used “crock pot” my entire adult life and have purchased 3 total. My crock pots have lasted at least 10 years each and none have ever broken. I simply have given my old crockpots away and purchase a new one when I change appliances in my kitchen.

I've had this slow cooker for 5 years. Have probably used it at least 60 times. Pros Makes great chilli, soups, sauces, casseroles overnight Easy to clean Great size - Roomy Reliable slow cooker Good Price (much less than designer models) Cons Outside does get very hot. (Use away from children/pets in safe, well ventilated spot) Lid fits poorly Writing has worn off the settings High heat is very hot (but I like it)
