Q: Are these bowls designed in a way that keeps them from wobbling when mixing? Is the bottom of the bowls flat? Do these bowls have rubber on the bottom to keep them from moving when mixing or stirring?

A: The rubber is nice for anti-slip on the counter but interferes if you want to use the bowls as a double-boiler. You can always put a potholder or rubber can opener under to mitigate slipping. In my opinion, these are more versatile. Depends on how you use them.

A: Hi! The 1.5 quart is 3.5"H and 7"D, the 3 quart is 4.5"H and 8.5"D, and the 5 quart is 5.3"H and 10.1"D. Thanks!

A: Lucy, the lids are made from plastic. These are my go-to bowls for mixing and storage. They are freezer safe and are prefect for transport. I love them so much that I own 2 sets!

Lower quality SS for a more expensive price!
I ordered these based on the name brand and because I assumed they were a better quality product because they were much more expensive than the other options in this category. Well you know what they say about assuming. I opened them up and could immediately tell they were “stainless steel” but not heavy duty or good quality. I usually search for “18/10” , “304” or “316” for the grades in my searches, but somehow skipped it when I found these. I checked the specs, and it only lists “stainless steel”. Someone else asked in the Q&A section, and the company rep replied that they are “10/8”, which is not a thing. I’m guessing they meant “18/0” which is much more prone to staining, scratching, denting and corrosion” than other higher quality grades. If I had gotten these for a super low price I would consider keeping them, but considering I just searched and there are better quality ones for less available on Target’s website, they will be returned. That being said, I do like the sizes and the lids. They would have stacked nicely and served a good purpose with the sizes it came with.

Love - but would like to replace bowls!
I got this product as a gift and was really happy with it (use it almost every day). Unfortunately, I lost one of the bowls and they don’t sell individuals for replacements - bummer! Would really appreciate if they changed this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice heavyweight mixing bowls. I needed to replace some old mixing bowls and found these, so glad I did. Would definitely recommend. Not too fond of the lids do not seal well, But I didn't buy them for the lids so it didn't matter to me.

I wanted these forever but didn’t purchase because I thought they wee me too expensive. finally i succumbed, and let me tell you, they are awesome. i use them to store everything from dry cereal to cool fruit salads. i wish i had more- but they are pretty pricey - maybe some day. awesome product.

Awesome Stainless Steel set
Absolutely PERFECT! The size, the weight, the lids, the stainless steel. They really are the perfect set. The Lisa are super helpful when nesting to transport or store leftovers. I bought this set because my previous roommate was a chef and, let’s just say, he enjoyed good quality. His sister was also a professional personal chef and she recommended this set as well. I looked at other companies and sets and this one was just very all encompassing for what is needed from a mixing bowl set. I expect to have this set for a very long time and looking forward to all the great recipes and hopefully memories that I will make with them! Thanks Cuisinart for making such an awesome product, as you have done with all of your products.
