New formula is disappointing
When Curlsmith updated the label (probably due to change in manufacturer), they changed the formula. This new formula doesn't seem to hold the curl at all, as in not even a little bit. I will say it makes my hair really soft, but that's where the benefit ends. I'm not sure I'll buy this again once I finish the bottle. I can't upload a photo, but the ingredients are definitely different.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I used this as a test dry/damp styling and it was great. I think it made my hair curlier. My hair was fully dry, I sprayed it down to damp, brush styled in chunky sections (about 4"x4"), raking a pump and a half for each section, and this was the result. My hair ranges from 2b-3c and this was the first product that defined, kept frizz down, and didn't have a crunch. This will definitely go in my routine. I wanted to add pix, but I don't see how to. :-(

Yes please!
I'm somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, but I really like this product! It smells DIVINE! The foam is really pleasant to use on your hair and doesn't feel too sticky. I bought a few things for wavy hair after cutting almost a foot of my hair off woke the waves back up lol, and this was the best one I tried.

A must have
A must have for my medium, high porosity bleached waves and my husband's curls. Leaves no sticky residue. I wish curlsmith made refills or larger bottles of this!

Love it
I have 2c lower back length hair I do not like casts, heavy products that weigg my hair down or make it feel like there's stuff in it and can't stand not washing my hair as I cook every day and don't want to wake up to greasy hair smelling like cooking oil. I have found a new world since finding curlsmith and use several of their products interchangeably every day. I just purchased the volume foam. I was able to layer air cream (soaking wet hair), the volumizing lotion (squeezed out) and this foam (2 pumps for top 2 pumps for lower) on towel dried and did not have that gross heavy feel, hair felt like it had nothing on, but looks light, bouncy and full; all their products continue to amaze me. I cowash just about every day along with condition/deep cond. and shampoo once a week w/curlsmith scalp. I highly recommend all of curlsmith products. I am combating too much protein/brittle ends right now and the products from this company have greatly helped me find my curls again and work towards healing them!

Didn't like this one
Product says light hold and that's exactly what I got. Not for thick hair was basically like applying water and I usually love curlsmith products. No hold , no moisture, no volume, no nothing. Zero outta 10

Perfect for my fine, colored hair
This stuff works very well for me! I previously used products that had plenty of protein, but not enough moisture. After switching to Curlsmith products, I realized I need both protein and hydration, since my hair is fine, wavy and coloured/bleached. This gives me the protein boost I need while not weighing down my hair. My current routine that I am really enjoying is the Volume Recipe shampoo and conditioner, Hydrate and Plump Leave In, Bouncy Strength Foam, and Hydro Style Flexi Jelly.

Not quite it
This product did provide volume but at the same time it was extremely drying and my hair ended up a tangled mess and my scalp was dry and itchy I had to do a hair mask and oil my scalp to get it back to normal, maybe it works for some other hair type but not mine (3c/4a high porosity) It did give volume though, so it does what it says it does

I returned it but only as did not work for me
I only gave this product a try once but it did not do anything for my hair. I have fine curly hair so maybe that is why. I do love the Curlsmith line but just not this product.

My Favorite Foam for Wavy Hair!
I have wavy hair, not the pretty kind (unless I'm fresh out of the ocean). The kind thats WAVY underneath and the top… not so much. This is by far my favorite foam to date, and I have tried so many that I cant even count. It smoothes without weight it down. It adds volume. It evens out my wave and makes the too wave more closely match the under wave. No more frizz. And the scent is delicious- slight rose scent mixed with something else I cant put my finger on. I now want to try all their products, but am holding out for a sale! TRY IT!

I love this product!
I love this product. I put it on at the end after my other products when my hair is starting to dry. It really helps my curls form and stay in place for over 3-4 days! When I don't have it my hair doesn't stay as curly. Highly recommend if you have heavy curls!

Good for root volume
I have fine wavy hair and really like this volume foam for my roots -- it gives me some subtle root lift with no stickiness or product-y feel like many volumizing products. It has little to no hold though.

No Difference
I've tried Curlsmith products before, and every time I have been dissapointed. This product did nothing for my hair. No noticeable added volume. The foam was so light it felt like it dissapeared before even getting through more tjan one layer of my hair. I feel like the only reason Curlsmith is still in business is because they have good labeling.
