[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new cream has been great! It says to use it on dry hair, but I put it on my damp hair before diffusing to provide a bit of heat protection. It gave some subtle definition to my curls and wasn’t sticky and did not make my hair crunchy.

Products heavy in glycerin tend to frizz out my hair; make it look like I’m an extra for a Zombie movie. This product has glycerin listed 3rd. I tried it against my better judgement. At first, my hair looked beautiful; after about 15 minutes, I looked in the mirror, & it began frizzing up. Had I known glycerin was at the top of the ingredients list, I wouldn’t have bought this, so it’s my own fault. It’s not actually a bad product; it’s just not the right one for my hair.

I use curl cream regularly but in wet hair. The directions for this curl cream say to use in dry hair which threw me off. I tried it and didn’t love it. It does smell really nice. However, it felt really sticky during application and throughout the day. Gifted by curlsmith

Complimentary from curlsmith I love curl smith products! This curlshield cream is no different I’m enjoying my that it has a pump, I enjoy the scent I love how it’s a heat protectant defining cream! Anything with defining I want. I can get away with this product on lazy days to use by it self and diffuse right away. I do use it on wet & dry hair. On dry hair I use it abit more when I’m out in the sun as a heat protectant in that sense. But I love this product. Easy to use

I’m not usually a styling my hair kind of person so I wasn’t sure if this would work. So far I like it and my first impressions are good. Although I will say I have to see how my second hair day will be when u re wet my curls. If this is on sale I say go for it but all in all it’s not bad but it does what it says and smells fruity! It’s very soon that I actually heat style when I do it till my hair is already dried to touch up. I like that it felt like protected my hair but didn’t feel heavy . I followed up with using curling iron. I feel like it helped to hold my style too . I was gifted by curlsmith .

This is a nice curl crème, but what I loved about this product is that it has Uv protection from the sun. I think it is the best going into the summer and spending long times outside. I would give it a try and see if it will work for you *gifted by curlsmith
