Too thick
I followed the instructions and it did not get soft at all. I tried again with keeping water at a boil on the stovetop the full three minutes. That time it actually worked and made a fairly good impression of my top teeth. However, the bottom was still flat and uncomfortable and resulted in way too thick and not locked in feeling. Would be better if you could form both top and bottom molds.

Total waste of $27 that I can't get back. Followed the instructions exactly and it didn't work at all, wouldn't leave an impression even biting until my jaw ached. Tried again and it came out of the tray and got misshapen.

Not bad for under $30
I followed the directions and it came out pretty good. I bit down hard for 3 minutes and it was uncomfortable, but necessary. I have a professionally formed night guard from the dentist but I don’t like the way it came up halfway on my front teeth. Night guards are not comfortable until you get used to them, even the expensive ones. But I like this one so far!

Impossible to mold
I followed the instructions four times and it did not work. The fourth time, I had to put it in my mouth while it was still boiling hot just so that my teeth would sink in to the guard. I figured: even if it burns it'll be worth it if this thing finally works. It did not. So now I have a burnt mouth and a non-functioning night guard. Absolutely do not recommend.

Don't Waste Your Money
I've been a Quality Engineer. I graduated with a degree in Materials. I've followed all instructions. Thought this would be a decent replacement while I wait to get new InvisAlign as that stopped my grinding. This absolutely doesn't work.

Best night guard!!!
I’m very satisfied with my night guard i have TMj, I see so many at the bottom saying it’s bad choking hazard and falls out I cannot tell you what they are doing wrong but I have NONE OF THESE PROBLEMS got it Feb 2025 and since no issues with hitting down and any other problems. I sleep VERY GOOD WITH IT. Haven’t missed a night using it. Highly recommend.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. The instructions were pretty clear. 3 minutes was not long enough to warm up my water so I put it back in for an additional 2 minutes. Once I did that, it formed to my teeth perfectly. It was pretty comfortable to wear. Although, after 2 nights it rubbed a raw spot against my gum that took about a week to heal. It's a neat product and I would recommend it. Just be really careful on when you mold it to your teeth so that its perfect.

I felt I needed more support
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I clentch my teeth at night. My dentist says it's most likely stress related. I often have dream about my teeth falling out because of it. It's now a fear of mine... Losing my teeth. I need a mouth guard to help protect them, but didn't want to pay the crazy fees my dentist wanted for a mouth guard. So the DenTek mouth guard caught my attention. I wondered how it would fit since everyones bites are different, but they have it so you can heat up theirs in hot water and then bite to personalize it for you! I thought it was very smart, however I just don't find it strong enough and big enough to adequately do the job. This person has very little to it in the front and while larger in the back, I don't feel like it protected the way I was looking for it to. They do have another version which may be a better fit, however, this was the version I had and that is what I am reviewing. This is definitely for someone that just needs a little help. I thought it would be nice as I do gag with a larger mouth guard, but it just didn't give me the stronger protection I feel is needed.
