Q: The count says 816. Does that mean it has that many bags?

A: The count refers to the number of diapers it should hold. There aren't individual bags. It is 3 long tubes.
submitted byTarget mama - 8 years agoA: No these bags are one continuous bag and you cut them when they are full and tie the ends off. There is a spot to cut them in the diaper genie. It is just telling you that the 3 pack of bags will hold about 816 newborn diapers total not 816 bags.

Bags are very thin, did not sit well in our diaper genie. Each time I went to use a new canister the top popped off and the whole roll of bags was deployed. This attempt at saving money was a waste.

Rip and tear extremely easy causing more waste than what is saved. Also these do not hold smell whatsoever. They smell so badly that every time we throw a diaper in we gag from the smell. We only put pee diapers in. We put poop diapers in another bag in the pail outside. Don’t buy these.

Not as durable and thick as the brand name but gets the job done. You get what you pay for with the lower price. We used with our diaper genie and when pulling down to get access to more bag to tie off, it often gets rips. No scent.

I have been using these for the last 7 years over the course of 3 kids and they’ve worked fantastic until very recently. Now they do not contain the smell AT ALL, you might as well just leave your diapers sitting in a plastic grocery bag.

We bought these in a pinch and they worked well enough. Fit the Munchkin diaper pail fine, worked fine, etc. The smell wasn’t contained but once baby is eating solids, we don’t find anything contains the smell well and we end up changing the bag after every dirty diaper. The bigger issue I had with these is they do not tear as cleanly with the part that cuts the bags. We always get a few tiny pieces of the name brand but with this one there were a lot more plastic pieces and bigger pieces; also more difficult to see since the blue does not stand out as much as the orange. These were fine in a pinch and worked for what we needed them from, though will be going back to the name brand.
