Q: Why does this product show so many different alcohols in the ingredients, which dry out the face, when it needs to be mousterizing? Just curious. The reviews all look very good, but they were all collected as part of a promotion.

I adore the restorative night moisturizer from Differin! I have combination skin with acne and use this after I apply tretinoin at night. Tret is quite drying and I find that this moisturizer does a great job of cutting down on any peeling or tightness I get from tret. It feels great on the skin (not too heavy or sticky at all). I think it'd be a bit heavy for me during the daytime, especially in the summer, but it's perfect as a night moisturizer. It's also a dupe of the Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer, and the bottle is bigger for less money. Love it!

Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer is the best night cream I’ve ever used. I’m 46 years old and I still struggle with acne and very sensitive skin. This moisturizer is the perfect texture and lightweight yet emollient. It soaks in to my skin and feels very calming. I love that it contains licorice root extract because it reduces my redness without irritating my acne like vitamin C ingredients do. Please never discontinue or change the ingredients 😀

This moisturizer is amazingly hydrating allows me to wake up with glowing skin. The only thing I’d complain about is the inclusion of BHT which is okay in small doses, but I’d rather not have this harmful synthetic ingredient in my daily moisturizer.

Swaped from Cerave pm after finding out the *hard way that they changed their formula. I had so much irritation and tiny breakouts everywhere and searched high and low for a new moisturizer. It took me forever to find this product, but I feel lucky to have found it. I am in love. This has no scent and causes no irritation. This only lost a star because I noticed some breakouts. but nothing nearly as bad as cerave p.m or the many other products I've tried. This stuff has calmed my irritated skin and restored my moisturizer barrier, so I will continue to use it. Thank you, Differin! Please, please do not ever change this product formula.

This product is NOT non comedogenic, so it WILL clog pores. My teen daughter was using differing soothing moisturizer (non comedogenic) with her differin gel and it worked great. They seem to have stopped making the soothing moisturizer so I bought this night moisturizer assuming because it was differin it would also be non comedonic. After only a week or two her blemishes worsened considerably so we looked closer only to find she was putting this product with Shea butter in it on top of her differin gel, essentially negating the effects of the gel. Stating that this product is for acne prone skin is false advertising.

This is just what I was looking for! My skin is combination, sensitive, and very acne-prone. I need some moisturization but most occlusive ingredients clog my pores. This isn’t glamorous but it does the job. It doesn’t sting or cause redness like some moisturizers do for me. And it’s a great value. This is a new staple for me!

This solved flaking dry skin around mouth and eyebrows from gradual increase in Tretinoin prescription used for anti-aging. Before bed I put it on under the tretinoin. in the morning I put it on after vitamin C serum and before sunscreen. It plays nicely with all of these products. Skin is back to normal!

I have used tretinoin since I was a teen and I’m now 30. I have amazing skin but tret is irritating as we all know. This moisturizer makes the irritation zero. I haven’t had any side effects using the strongest grade retinoid while using this. I am solely loyal to this specific moisturizer and won’t use another. Not only does it hydrate but the ingredients are chefs kiss. It has peptide, ceramide, niacinamide (spelling). I will forever be buying this until I die
