Itchy Irritation
After 2 uses my skin began breaking out in itchy bumps immediately after application. There was redness which lasted through the night and into the next day, accompanied by small irritated bumps. I'm disappointed because I love the rest of their products! If you have sensitive skin you may want to reconsider the scar gel. I love their dark spot treatment and it works great on my combo acne-prone skin. The smell is chemically but tolerable and the application is nice and smooth. Unfortunately, the irritation and significant time commitment of this product is not worth it in my opinion.

I already see a difference in my skin after 1 use. I get excited to apply it every night. It smells like chemicals but it gives a glow. The next morning, my skin looks smoother. It’s one of those products you wanna stock up on in case they ever discontinue it. I’m wondering if it’s something I can implement in the a.m. as well due to the glow.

Fits well into routine
I love the regular Differin with adapalene so I decided to give a few other products a try. I have several noticeable areas on my face that I’m looking to reduce scarring and have been using this for a few weeks. No noticeable improvement so far but I will definitely use up the rest of the tube and possibly buy again as it does fit in well with my routine!

Mediocre product for acne scars
This product does help with acne scarring but only with consistent use. This product takes about three weeks to fade recent red scars. However, older scars take about a month to two months to fade but some redness is still left over. I would repurchase this product again only If it was on sale as the results do not really justify the price.

Results surprised me!
I picked this up this on clearance - I’ve used the differin OTC adapalene for about a year. The results of this surprised me - after 3 weeks of use my skin is noticeably more refined, softer, and scars have been reduced! I use this in the morning all over under my moisturizer. It goes on very smoothly, doesn’t interfere with my makeup. Does not irritate my skin or dry me out (but my skin is already used to differen so that may be why). Standard differen has been great for my acne and fine lines, but somehow the resurfacing gel improves my skin texture in a different way. I’m not quite sure why it works so well based on the ingredients listed? I’ll be repurchasing when it runs out. A little of this goes a long way. And remember to use sunscreen with this!

Not working

I got this gel in hopes it would lighten it or smooth it, just help it not be so ugly..... I used the whole tube and it looks the same.

But older scars it made a bit of a difference but not hugely noticeable. At least on me. But I do like it for newer scars that's for sure! Easy to use. Rub it in and let it go. Smells a bit strong but the smell to me doesn't really linger around on the skin either.

I’ve noticed my skin looks a lot smoother and my acne scars have faded since using this product. It also moisturizes my skin while I use it! Only downfall is that it is somewhat expensive.
