Replaces the previous target branded powder but at a higher price and with more chemicals. The old formula worked and was cheap, and the ingredients were fine. It was the only product like it at any big box store. This is now just as junked up as other brands.

Modern kitchens sleep on powder detergent. Not a spot on my glass, not a crusty bit left behind. This genre of houseware detergent allows you to use less but reap the best results. Ditch your pods y’all.

Normally I wouldn't give such a bad review because it is a cheap product, but the fact that the package promises "virtually spotless dishes" is laughable. The first photo has a kids straw washed using this detergent and one with another detergent. The cloudy one is with this detergent. My dishes were greasy and had many, many spots using this detergent. I threw it away.

Very effective. If used correctly, will clean all dishes really well (put in prewash and main compartment). Cost wise, it comes out to around $0.09 per cycle, which is much cheaper than pods which are at least double the price per load. It also comes in a cardboard box, which is a plus! I'd buy this over the liquid detergent since it also contains Sodium Carbonate Peroxide, which is a bleach not found in the liquid detergent. It's also cheaper per load as you'll have to use more liquid detergent since it's diluted in water. Also, the cardboard box is way more eco friendly than the plastic jug!

This works and looks the same as Target's discontinued Smartly dishwasher powder. It doesn't leave any residue on dishes, unlike the Cascade I had to buy after Smartly was discontinued...

hey so this is insane, i bought this for less than $3 branded as smartly lemon scent dishwasher powder back in may 2024 and have been looking for it on the shelves for months, only to finally find it in december in the app for $5 branded as “deal worthy”. what’s deal worthy about this? what’s improved so much that it’s worth almost twice the price since may? are your employees making twice as much? or just your CEO?

I actually don't mind this stuff. I feel like it washes my dishes just as well as anything else. It smells decent. My only dislikes are the powder gets in the way of closing my compartment inside the dishwasher. It blocks the door from closing correctly. Also some of the powders remains behind after every wash. It never fully gets cleaned out of the compartment it's in.

This dishwasher detergent did an OK job of cleaning the dishes in my dishwasher. I would rather have a liquid versus a powder, however, the powder seems to kind of get everywhere when I’m loading my dishwasher and it leaves a little bit of gritty residue on the plates and glasses.

Reminds me of the name brand. Just a whole lot cheaper. I didn't have any residue left on the glasses or the product mashed in a hard crust still in the dispenser. Which can be common with off brand name items. I plan on buying more of this in the future.

This Dishwasher detergent Powder Not Only Gets The Job Done, but it gets it done Exceptionally Well and it has a wonderful Lemon Scent that is not overpowering in any way but is just the right aroma to truly enjoy. This detergent powder will have your silverware sparkling bright, your glassware giving off a very clear look with no streaks and your dinner plates completely clean. This is a very easy to pour powder that comes in a well constructed box that does not have granules falling out of the box . You will truly enjoy seeing how beautifully clean your kitchen utensils, glassware, dinner dishes and other products turn out. I highly recommend this product.

So, I was hesitant to try a powder dishwasher cleaner as I have used the pods for several years. I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED! NO WATER SPOTS! NO FOOD RESIDUE! DISHES WERE SPARKLING CLEAN. It has an easy open, easy pour box. I highly recommend!
