With a compact size like this it’s important to be able to get a good solid grip for safety. The rubber ice grips here give you exactly that. Sharpening blades are well designed and work perfectly. It's very straightforward to switch between coarse and fine grit, and use either the 20 or 22 degree angle, as preferred. The bottle opener on the end is a fun add-on, too!

The product itself is high quality, no knicks or scrapes or dings after sharpening four knives. Keeps the knives sharp for over a week (testing period).Convenient to stick in a drawer and have on hand without taking up space. If not as klutzy as me I highly recommend.

I like the simple 2 grit plates and they store in the handle so they don’t get lost. I can see this being very useful for a camping mess kit or in an RV.

The diamond grit is aggressive enough to get the job done quickly, and the file itself feels sturdy and well-made. The handle is comfortable to grip and gives you good control while working. That said, I’m still pretty confused about all the advice out there on the “right angle” to sharpen kitchen knives. There seems to be a lot of talk about 15° vs 20°, and holding a consistent angle—and honestly, that part is kind of overwhelming if you’re not a sharpening expert. I’m sure this tool can do a great job on knives too, but I feel like I’d need a guide or some kind of angle jig to really get it right. This sharpener works really well on both the coarse and fine sides you just need to be careful not to press to hard when using. I really like the case as its super easy to store and does not take up much room but is convenient to get to when needed. I haven't tried the bottle opener yet but it looks like it should work well.

It stores nicely, has a nice grip, and is easy to use, if you know how to sharpen a knife on a stone. The handle could use some rubber on it to help with the grip, as the plastic is rather slippery.

It truly is a double flip, with two grits for sharpening that are color-coded in red and blue. Plus, when you pull out the sharpener, there is a bottle opener. As a beginner, I think this stone is forgiving for errors, and I did a bunch. I sharpened a test dull knife, it took me a while to figure out the angle, but after figuring this out, the sharpening was easy and kinda fun. I'm satisfied with the results and will start sharpening my other knives. I wish the stone had something to help find the angle and some stand or anything to lift the stone above the surface it is standing.
