A: Asian knives have a steeper bevel to the edge than western knives. The Asian side of the sharpener is a 10 degree angle and the other sharpener is a 15 degree angle.

The handle feels good to grip. The rubber makes it so it does not slip or move. However there are no instructions on how to use the product optimally. It does sharpener my knife but if feels like a marginal improvement. It has chipped my knife slightly
