A: Most pillows will feel warm with your head pressed against them. Some models feature special fabrics or fillings with heat management performance benefits. This is not one of those models and will feel like a normal pillow. Thanks, DOWNLITE
A: Thanks for letting us know. So this pillow when unboxed, uncompressed and in normal state is appx 8 inches high. Of course once you put your 9 pound head on it it will significantly flatten. All down alternative pillows are what is considered 'loose blown' - which means the filling on the inside can move around. Thus your 9 pound head will be 1/2 inch from the bed once you rest your head/face - while the rest of the pillow will fill up to be appx 8-10 inches around the are not being slept on. What we consider as being more relevant is what sleep position do you normally wake up in every morning. A stomach sleeper or face sleeper usually need a pillow with a VERY light amount of filling - this allows the sleeper to breathe easily around the pillow.
