Q: Does your product have alot of issues with leakage at the top when babies feed?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Per our bottle instructions to prevent leaking, this is what we recommend: *Avoid formula bubbles: Do not shake the bottle. Formula should be stirred gently to fully dissolve lumps – as lumps can clog nipple/teat holes. Fill to the desired amount. To prevent potential leaks, do not fill the bottle above the FILL LINE WARNING *For proper bottle and venting function, only use Dr. Brown’s® nipples/teats with this bottle; other brands may leak or flow too fast or too slow. *When feeding your baby, hold the bottle so that the reservoir tube hole in the bottom of the bottle is not covered by liquid (approximately at a 45° angle). Keep your baby propped up rather than lying down during feeding. *When transporting bottles, always keep them upright and use travel cap or disk to help prevent leaking. During air travel, please remove internal parts and secure with travel cap or disk to prevent leaking from air pressure.

I'm not sure what happened to these bottles compared to 10yrs ago when i had my last child but these are no where close to as good as i remember them to be. They are constantly leaking all over the place and leave a mess all over my baby regardless of the fact that yes i have them put together correctly.

These are the worst bottles ever! Not because of the many pieces it brings that you have to wash; but because they leak so much every single time I’m feeding the baby he ends up drenched in milk also because the flow is way too fast for a newborn! My son sounds like he’s getting drowned in milk when drinking from these bottles! Just want to note I’m using the size 1 nipples which is supposed to be slow flow! Wish I would have known.

These bottles leak all over the place! I bottle feed at night and I woke up in the middle of the night to find out my babies blanket, mattress and clothes are soaking wet!! I bought it to prevent colic and liked the idea of glass bottles but this is totally unacceptable!!!

I never write reviews but this needs a good review. I raised 2 colicky heavy allergy weak stomach babies. And tried comtomo, boon, lansinoh, Avent anti colic, Chico, evenflow natural and 2 of my baby can only take the Dr. Brown bottle. I never had a issue of leak with this bottle so I don’t know why people have a problem. I dropped the bottle really hard in the car and it leaked but I open and put them back then the leak stopped. I hate washing all the parts but if your baby is not colicky than take out the straw and use it. You definitely need to buy a premiee nipple if you want to use this bottle for less that a 3 month old! I will only use this bottle and not even bother with other bottles if I have a 3rd baby.

I love these bottles for avoiding a colicky baby, wonderful. I haven't had any issue with colic so far, however, they leak if they aren't standing upright. They've leaked in my diaper bag, they've leaked in my pocket. How in the world can you ha e a leaky baby bottle? That is enough to make me gi e a low rating. It's sad because they're great bottles but the fact that they leak is extremely annoying.

Literally worst bottles ever. I work at a daycare and always dread whenever a new baby comes in with these bottles ESPECIALLY with breast milk. These bottles are always leaking, even when my coworkers and I try to fix the problem. Even when the bottles are just sitting in the fridge they leak. We have individual containers for each child, and the babies who have these bottles always have milk at the bottom of their containers that need to be cleaned out constantly. Please do yourself (and your daycare teachers!!!) a huge favor and avoid this brand.

I have used these bottles while babysitting. They worked fine then. Now after having my baby, I was gifted these and would have totally recommended these to anyone. Needless to say, I am horribly disappointed in these bottles both anti colic and natural flow. These bottles are leaky, some persons recommend not sterilizing with boiling water, but only with a steamer. Dr Brown needs to clarify this for all time sake. Formula is wasting and the mess is a frustrating disaster. Added to that, I cannot say that they prevent gas or colic in anyway because since using this product my baby is really gassy and has plenty gas. Overall I think we all deserve an explanation or a refund or an apology. It's not just the product. It's that the company is unapologetically standing by their product and either ignoring the reviews or being proud. Sad to say, I would rather invest in a drugstore, unbranded bottle just to know that I got my money's worth and little expectation

I received this product as a gift for my baby shower and my baby boy still use these bottles. I like the bottles minus the small narrow nipples. So I purchase their other bottles with the wide nipples and I & my baby love it. Overall I love using Dr brown bottles and been using their bottles since my first child years ago. Other than that I have not had any other issues with their bottles.

Personally the Dr Brown bottles only made my baby fussy and intake to much air causing her to be real gassy. Also after a bit of use they begin to leak. Keeping up with all its parts was extremely tiring. I didn’t love these but everyones little ones are different.

They leak and the customer service is terrible they don’t want to admit that their bottles are terrible! They are also manufactured so cheaply. They also don’t help for gas or colic baby still swallow a lot of air.

As an exclusively pumping mom. I absolutely hate these bottles. The amount of breast milk that’s wasted/leaked isn’t worth it. Haven’t let anyone that say otherwise. Why are these still being sold as is? I rather pay double the price for better quality. Can’t travel with these. They tip n leak all over the place. Can’t toss into purse for trip nearby. Purse will be ruined. Haven’t seen any difference with gas so why am I ruining my things? Please save your money and breast milk.

I normally don’t write reviews but I don’t want anyone else to buy these. We have wasted so much milk from these bottles, whether with 5 ounces or 1 in the bottle. If you want milk/formula all over you and your baby, definitely get these.
