Description
When recycling day comes around, you can count on the R/C Standard Recycling Truck from DRIVEN to get the job done right! Strong and sturdy, this four-wheel drive toy truck makes collecting recycling a breeze. Press the ignition button on the remote to activate all of this toy vehicle’s functions—it’ll also make a realistic sound! Then, use the remote to move the toy truck forwards, backwards, and side to side to navigate the city’s traffic. It even makes a horn noise—beep beep! Load the 2 toy recycling bins onto the back of the truck, then empty them into the container. Now it’s time to head to the imaginary recycling center—you can flash the toy truck’s headlights if it’s dark out! Finally, use the remote to raise and lower the container to empty it out. Remember: Stay DRIVEN, because the crew depends on you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with this because it sounds the same as my old one and when I started tapping the button to open the back of the truck, it makes loud clicking noises, even if my dad was fixing it, so that is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1.

It arrived in a box that looked like it was pulled at both ends and torn. Nothing worked for the electronics on the truck. Not putting in my batteries when they should have been included in the package as new. Not as used from the display.

My son has been wanting this for months and we held off because the price is a little steep. We put it on his birthday list and his aunt got it for him. We were so disappointed to find that the tail loader doesn’t lift and makes a very loud clicking sound when you press the button. Am I doing something wrong? Instructions are in 5 different languages and not very useful. The troubleshooting QR code isn’t even for the same truck and also not useful. Please help!

My son loved this garbage truck but after only 5 months the remote stopped working. And of course it is past the return window. I want the company to send us a new remote but have no idea how to make that happen. I wish I had ordered it from Amazon. Even when something is beyond the return window they will put you in contact with the manufacturer and we have had great success in the past with getting new parts or a completely new toy. For $60 this truck should have lasted longer than 5 months.

Unfortunately the reviews hold true for this garbage truck. We tried our luck and bought one in store only to get it home and it to make a horrible clicking sound opening and closing the back and it doesn’t stop until you hit the button again. We thought okay we will try to order it because the tutorial online does not make that sound. Well, it was the same story. So now we have two of these things we have to return.

Just took it out of the box and the remote will not sync up with the truck. The wheels won't even turn. Have gone through 12 batteries between the truck and remote to make sure it wasn't the batteries. Now I get to deal with a very unhappy 3 year old that's been asking for this piece of junk for 5 months...

As everyone else seems to be saying, this design is total crap. The back doesn't open and makes a loud clicking noise. Target should be ashamed to still have this on the shelf for 50 dollars. We returned the first defective one and got a replacement only for more tears and disappointment when the replacement was also defective. I'm so upset for my child.

Be warned do not buy under any circumstance. Everything in the design is flawed and when you return it for another you will notice the box on the new one taped back together because someone previously returned it. Look elsewhere and save yourself the hassle.
