I liked this at first due to the easy application (with damp sponge) and decent coverage, but it’s causing major breakouts, especially on my forehead. Every single time I use this, I have a ton of tiny pimples the next day. My skin was doing so good prior to using this. Such a bummer! The negative reviews are most likely due to improper application. Before I started watching application videos, I never used a primer. Now I do and I’m getting better results.I am 54, shade 150 C and I start with Glowy AF primer, wait a minute and then 1 swipe of Halo glow foundation mixed with 2 pumps of Cam CC. I use a brush at first, then a damp beauty blender to press it into skin. This step is essential for this makeup. Make sure your beauty blender is barely damp and just go over your face pressing gently…no rubbing or swiping. There is always going to be some texture to skin. I put my photos for you to see that you can still see my skin beneath the makeup and my imperfections are blurred but not gone. I’m 54, so I didn’t expect flawless, but I’m pleased. Good luck, try it and see if you get a better result. I do think it’s pretty good quality. I have used IT CC cream and it is horrible on my skin. Breaks me out, the ELF does not.

I don’t understand all of the negative reviews! This stuff is AMAZING and the coverage and stay power is far superior than any other CC cream or foundation I have ever used! And I have tried multiple high end brands over the years - I am 43 so it has been hundreds of products! I have VERY uneven skin tone and a lot of redness from keratosis pilaris on my face. I have never been able to find a CC cream, foundation- liquid, pressed powder, loose mineral based or concealer that offers the coverage like this stuff does. I totally bought this stuff with no other option as we were stranded due to flight issues and we did not have our luggage. Target run we made and I had to replace all of my “high end” makeup with what I could find. I bought this as I though it would be better than nothing at all and it was a good price. Well it has surpassed my expectations and has replaced my expensive high end makeup and it’s all I use!! I hope they never stop making this stuff!! Definitely will stock up on it!!
