I would say there isn’t much difference in coverage but there is a difference in weight. -Both HD powders worked really well with or without foundation. It has a desirable finish to the skin so it’s soft to the touch and my flyaway hairs don’t stick. Really lightweight in my opinion! -Halo Glow powder definitely has the illuminated shimmer that’s not really noticeable except up close. Much like the soft luminance HD shimmer, it gives that glowing appearance without actually being dewy. But it does feel a tad “cakier” leaning towards powder foundation to the touch. I find myself restocking on HD more than Halo Glow. It all comes down to preference!
