A: You may use this as your only product to remove your makeup and then rinse off. If you prefer to double cleanse, you may follow up with cleanser.
submitted bythe elfcareteam - 5 months agoA: You don’t technically NEED to, but please use a facial cleanser after you rinse this off. Your skin will feel much better not to mention cleaner. Using just this and no face wash after will cause you to breakout I can guarantee.

A: I have used this for about 2ish years now and each container lasts me around 2-3 months even if I use it daily. You don’t need more than a pea sized amount, a little more if your makeup is super heavy.

A: It does temporarily if you don't rinse well enough, but if you rinse thoroughly or follow up with another cleanser in your routine it immediately goes away.

There are a number of things I would like to point out about this product, both positive and negative feedback. The overall packaging of the product is amazing! It has a sleek look that makes the packaging look great. It is sturdy and there is even a spatula included, which is super nice when getting the product out. The cleansing balm is vegan and cruelty free. The box covers all the main points like suitable skin types, import ingredients, what the cleansing bomb does and how to use it. The holy hydration make up melting cleansing bomb is suitable for dry, oily, and even combination skin types. It has some amazing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and peptides. The balm turns into a milky like oil that melts away your make up while removing impurities to be able to cleanse the skin. This is to allow for a silky, smooth and moisturize feel. I think it’s great that they included a spatula to be able to scoop out the cleansing balm. Additionally, you can use a cleansing cloth with the product. I would like to add there is a slight floral like scent. It may not be favored by all users but it doesn’t seem to be too overwhelming.

i had super high hopes for this stuff, i saw a lot of great reviews and it was suggested to me by a friend. it did a fantastic job of taking my makeup off, however when i would wash it off my face it would get in my eyes and my eyes would burn and be blurry for at least 10 minutes. it does its job great, however i just didn’t like the after feeling on my eyes

It contains hyaluronic acid that helps hydrate and make skin plump, ceramides to help with the moisture barrier of the skin, and peptides to help refresh the skin. I use this to help remove foundation and slight eye makeup. It helps gently remove the makeup without scrubbing. I like the sweet floral scent which is pleasant and non-irritating. My skin feels super soft after rinsing this off and leaves my skin moisturized and softer than before.

It’s oil based so definitely greasy, but once you wash it off it doesn’t leave an oily residue on your face. It works great at getting even my waterproof mascara off. And it is very gentle on my skin. The entire Holy Hydration! line from e.l.f. gets 10s across the board from me!
