It’s less harsh than black. I have very straight lashes and found that it gave a little curl, nothing super impressive, but for the price it works quite well. It adds volume and requires a lash comb for my ideal lash definition.

Usually my lashes fall right away but they stayed up even after this dried. It was easy to apply without any clumping or extra mess. It doesn't weigh my lashes down or make them feel stuck together.

It makes my lashes look more voluminous, but the applicator kind of makes the mascara a little bit chunky. It’s fairly easy to remove with standard makeup remover. I love elf products and this one was good, but not great.
