This 5 cup coffee maker is perfect for just me without having a bunch of wasted coffee. I also like that it comes with a resuable basket so no more running out of coffee filters and having to improvise early in the morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffeemaker is perfect for two people. My husband and I brew a round, and as we drink that we have another round going. It's got what you need, and that's it. I really like the reusable filter it comes with and that it doesn't take forever to brew. It takes long enough, though, so the coffee is nearly as flavorful as pour over. Sometimes when brewing a full amount, the coffee all does not get moistened, so if you let it go halfway and then turn the filter bucket a bit inside, all the grounds get brewed perfectly. The only downsides to this coffeemaker are that the hot plate seems to be a bit too hot and will burn the coffee(not burn up literally but will have a burnt overcooked flavor if you try drinking it) if left on too long. Also, the way the pot pours makes it so that you must do it very slowly or it will drip out of the sides of the spout. This is fine for a calming zen experience making coffee, but if you are in a hurry it can get annoying. Overall this is a great option for a simple way to make flavorful coffee.

I really like the size of the 5 cups considering I was wasting so much coffee with the 12 cup. Has good features and is really great quality. Everything is as stated on the box and works great. Love that it keeps my coffee at the same temperature as when I first make a pot. Recommend !

I initially laughed at the small size; being used to 12-cup coffeemakers, this petite 5-cup coffeemaker was so funny to look at and operate.iy.like I was missing half the coffee! But it was just about perfect for most days..i forgot that with the 12-cup, I was always dumping close to half the pot unless an extremely stressed or tired day.

I like the many features it has but especially the pause button! Without it I would need to wait until completely brewed or have a big mess trying to slip my mug under the flow at the exact time. Pros: Overall this coffeemaker is compact, effective at doing what it's supposed to do, and has some great quality-of-life features that you wouldn't expect to see in a coffeemaker at this price point (like the included filter basket, "pause and serve" function, etc. The coffee it makes is brewed well and tastes great. Con: The heating element that the carafe sits on seems a bit underwhelming. It does not keep coffee in the carafe very hot at all (slightly above lukewarm from my perspective). If you prefer your coffee piping hot you'll want to make sure you get to your second cup real quick before it cools down! If you prefer a slightly cooler cup of coffee, this may not be a con for you at all, but either way I'd recommend this product to anyone needing a competent personal-size coffeemaker.

It doesn’t take long to brew a pot of coffee . It’s easy to clean after using , all you do is put the filter in the trash and rinse out the basket , and your good to go !
