When I did apply it, it went on smoothly and became more sleek appearing. I was very impressed with how nice my foundation went on following the primer and that it stayed for the duration of my long day! However, I purchased this because I noticed my pores were getting larger as I age. This goes on so buttery, smooth. I’m not exactly sure what to expect however, the feeling of it is great. It almost melts right into your skin and is very thin. I like how it has a light pink color to it that way it blends in even better. Excited to try it before my powder to see about poor minimizing effects. I received an incentive to write this review.

It’s my first time using Elizabeth Mott thank me later face primer and the consistency is thick. I didn’t expect it to be pigmented which unfortunately left a white cast on my skin. I think if you are more fair it wouldn’t be a problem but even after blending it this didn’t work for me. I liked the amount of coverage it offered and the silky feeling but it didn’t work for me. I typically do not wear much make up so it helps to keep on what I do put on. I have two toddlers and a baby at home and rarely have time to put make up on in the first place, so it’s so nice to have my make up last longer when I want it to. I did like the way it rubbed easily into the skin, but didn't like the way it felt. I most likely won't buy this again and will use until it is gone. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say the overall quality of the item is a 6. It is a good base but unfortunately it does make my face feel a little bit dry. Once I put a moisturizing foundation on it did help though! I received an incentive to write this review.

From the very first use, I noticed a huge difference in how smoothly my make up applied and more importantly how long it stayed in place. This primer glides on like silk instantly blurring the pores and fine lines without feeling heavy. The primer feels like a cream and you apply it all over your face. My makeup lasted much longer when I use the primer than when I didn’t. My only complaint is that you don’t get very much in this tube and you’ll need to re-order after a month or two. I am a firm believer in primer before make up though. It feels quite velvety once applied. My makeup definitely went on smoothly on top of the primer. I have a red undertone and it didn’t cover that up but it definitely did shrink my pores. It is thick but not at all Sticky. I feel like it really moisturized my skin and allowed my foundation and blush to stay on and not look cakey at all. I tend to have dry skin and I am 53 years old. It fills pores so that your base goes on smoother. As a Florida girl, I get a natural glow after being outdoors with makeup so it’s nice to have a matifying primer to help keep oil under control. The packaging is cute, feels nice on the skin and doesn’t cause any piling or base separation, and competitively priced with similar drugstore primers on the market. It really made my face look smoother by matting out my pores. I wore this while running errands during a hot afternoon, and even after a few hours, my makeup still looked good. It’s a silicone based primer so I paired it with a silicone based foundation and my foundation lasted me all day. I am a combo skin type and this primer didn’t dry me out. But I put it on my skin and began rubbing it in and it became much smoother, applied completely clear, and felt great on my skin!
