Q: Can these be worn while sleeping for overnight leaking?

  • A: As a 3rd time mama I would not recommend this for 2 reasons: once expressed from the breast, milk needs to be cooled in the fridge or freezer within a couple hours so it doesn’t grow bacteria and I would be concerned about this product leaking when you lay down as it would require a pretty tight fitting bra/shirt to hold it against you enough to not leak. Each Elvie Catch is made up of two parts - a Cup and a Skirt. The Cup is made from polypropylene, and the Skirt is made from food-grade silicone.   • A: Hello! We recommend removing your Elvie Catch every two to three hours, to allow the nipple to completely air-dry. This timing also makes the most of the milk being collected, as milk left at room temperature for too long should not be fed to your baby.

  • A: Hi there! Elvie Catch can absolutely be used during breastfeeding to catch milk leaked on the other breast and will collect up to 1oz of milk. It fits in your bra and lays against your breast acting similar to a breast pad with the added bonus of saving your milk! Our Elvie Curve could be a great option for you as well. Elvie Curve also fits discreetly in your bra, but uses natural suction for passive expression and can hold up to 5oz of milk. Hope this helps!

    Collection Cups are Excellent - but purchase elsewhere!

    This is my second set of collection cups, they are well worth the money, work well and are comfortable. But purchase on Amazon or elsewhere as Elvie has terrible customer service and is impossible to process returns with, if needed.

    great if you like leaks

    these come apart overnight. that feature is helpful for cleaning because they tend to hold smell, but then they get looser and looser each time you take them apart and put them back together. it sucks to wake up soaked.

    Cups leak every time in use, if you are looking for something sturdy and manageable when trying to get minimal things done around your house these won't work. even when caring for my baby, the bottom of the cup always get out of place. only time they don't leak is when I use it to collect on the side I am not pumping from, and thats because I'm sitting down. Also, I tried getting a refund and the manufacturer they rejected my request for no reason given. I used them 3 times, they are practically brand new.

    Solid collection cup for small leakage

    This is cups to the boob much better than the Willow collection cup and is easier to clean. The base is silicone and the front is plastic. Sometimes it requires a little more force to connect the plastic front to the silicone base, but it's tight where it won't leak. The cap has a very small flat end so it can lay flat, I wish it was slightly bigger or maybe I'm just nervous it'll tip over because I'm clumsy. This only holds a little bit of collection so if you leak a lot, definitely get a different type.

    Poor Quality - Leaking

    I bought these almost 3 years ago for my first and loved them. They helped me collect extra milk from my opposite side let down while feeding. I just bought a new set for my second and now have leaking out of the bottom of the cup almost every single feed which leaves my bra soaked. Product quality has decreased significantly over the years.

    Terrible ! Don't waste your money and your precious milk

    I have tried and tried, milk keeps on getting stuck in the middle and it spills when trying to transfer it. I called and ask for assistance. They sent Me new parts but it changed nothing. The milk still stays in the middle and then spills everywhere.

    Must have for nursing mamas

    LOVE THESE! I recently had my 3rd baby and I leak on the non-nursing side. These are so slim but catch a full ounce (more if you lean forward, ask how I know lol). I’ve frozen so many ounces that would have soaked into pads otherwise. I’ve tried other catchers with my other babies and’s this brand is my favorite! They’re also incredibly easy to empty into a bottle and cleans.

    Doesnt collect milk well

    Elvie is full of frauds I returned this because I no longer wanted it I returned it unopened brand new condition paid to have it shipped because they don't and still have yet to get my refund and this was shipped to them in march they have given me the run around saying let me escalate you to the finance team it was sent 4/20 the refund still don't see it in my account though now they can't find my email address I can't chat on the website this is ridiculous either send the product back or give me my money and stop lying . This is unprofessional and pathetic why steal my $17 it's only $17 yall have billions of dollars. I will never ever buy another Elvie product or recommend them . I disputed it with my goofy bank they gave a credit then took it back after their "investigation" getting rid of my bank next. Submitted tracking number proof of emails sent to me from Elvie proof they received the product still nothing crazy work

    Game changer

    Just gave birth to my third baby. Saw these and thought Id give them a try… So impressed! Everyone I show is just in aw. Do they give you bubble boob? Yes. But who cares! In the picture I shared you will see milk that I caught from my left boob (while pumping on my right boob)

    Build a stash and cut down on nipple irritation

    I don’t normally write reviews but these are fantastic!! It’s amazing how much milk I’m able to collect throughout the day. It’s helped keep me feeling dry and less irritated and it’s nice to build up a freezer stash without even pumping. Highly recommend, will be buying these as gifts for my mom friends!

    Didn't work well

    It didn't work out for me and I didn't even use it for a full day. Actually caused more issues than helped. Cant return to Target, but emailed Elvie. Elvie's customer service said they would do a full refund, so I sent them the product back. They didn't refund me at all and have ignored my emails since.

    Works for me!

    36DDD size breasts and these work great for me. I ordered these while preparing for my first child and could not be happier. These along with my silverettes have made breastfeeding much more manageable.

    Milk saver

    I have a two week old and my milk is starting to come in, I’ve worn the disposable pads but what a waste when my baby is only on breast milk. I ordered two pair and I should have gotten them sooner. Got them today and I couldn’t be happier. I washed a pair and took a nap was able to give what was collected to baby until I pumped the rest of her milk, milk snack, and she was happy. When I first worn them was thinking the milk will fall out but to my surprise there is suction and the milk is stored. Absolutely recommend. Cleaning is easy.
