Q: Can these be worn while sleeping for overnight leaking?

A: As a 3rd time mama I would not recommend this for 2 reasons: once expressed from the breast, milk needs to be cooled in the fridge or freezer within a couple hours so it doesn’t grow bacteria and I would be concerned about this product leaking when you lay down as it would require a pretty tight fitting bra/shirt to hold it against you enough to not leak. Each Elvie Catch is made up of two parts - a Cup and a Skirt. The Cup is made from polypropylene, and the Skirt is made from food-grade silicone. Elvie Catch is dishwasher safe, BPA free and suitable for microwave, steam or cold water sterilization methods. A: Hello! We recommend removing your Elvie Catch every two to three hours, to allow the nipple to completely air-dry. This timing also makes the most of the milk being collected, as milk left at room temperature for too long should not be fed to your baby.

A: Hi there! Elvie Catch can absolutely be used during breastfeeding to catch milk leaked on the other breast and will collect up to 1oz of milk. It fits in your bra and lays against your breast acting similar to a breast pad with the added bonus of saving your milk! Our Elvie Curve could be a great option for you as well. Elvie Curve also fits discreetly in your bra, but uses natural suction for passive expression and can hold up to 5oz of milk. Hope this helps!

I don’t normally write reviews but these are fantastic!! It’s amazing how much milk I’m able to collect throughout the day. It didn't work out for me and I didn't even use it for a full day. Actually caused more issues than helped. Cant return to Target, but emailed Elvie. Elvie's customer service said they would do a full refund, so I sent them the product back. They didn't refund me at all and have ignored my emails since.

I have a two week old and my milk is starting to come in, I’ve worn the disposable pads but what a waste when my baby is only on breast milk. I ordered two pair and I should have gotten them sooner. Got them today and I couldn’t be happier. I washed a pair and took a nap was able to give what was collected to baby until I pumped the rest of her milk, milk snack, and she was happy. When I first worn them was thinking the milk will fall out but to my surprise there is suction and the milk is stored. Absolutely recommend. Cleaning is easy.

Overall I think this could be an incredible product but it doesn’t look natural if you have a larger chest. The silicon is soft and you can tell it’s made with high quality materials but the shape gave me a second “bubble boob” look even with a bra on, I’m currently a size 38DD.

I was dubious about how good they would be with a larger breast but they are fab. Bought these after suffering from sore nipples due to constant wet breast pads. They have been a life saver! They are very comfortable to wear and so far have never leaked. Great product and would recommend to any breastfeeding lady.

I personally did not collect much with these, as I don’t have a strong let down. However these saved my nipples! These provide just the right amount of protection to let your nipples recover in the first few weeks of breastfeeding. I also never had any problems with leaking the little bit of milk I did collect with them.

As a second time mom, finding this was euphoric! After dealing with the reusable pads which always got soaked -and eventually leaked- and such a hassle to clean them and wait for them to dry.. this product saves the milk from leaky breasts and breastfeeding let downs and it’s so easy to clean. Cannot recommend this enough! You set it dome down and it doesn’t roll and it’s pretty discreet.

I love the idea of these but I just didn't end up using them that long. I just didn't feel they were fully necessary for me. Regardless, they do what they're supposed to do, they sit well in a bra (for functionality - they are visible though, in my bra at least), and they're super easy to clean. If this is something you need for catching runaway milk, I do recommend them. I'd suggest waiting until you're breastfeeding to determine if you need them or not though, instead of purchasing beforehand.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase these from the mixed reviews, but wow. They really work! I do get how some women have said they feel like it pushes against too tight or placed in a position to where it felt like it cut off their supply, just find the comfortable fit and place it in the area properly where it’s not tighter more on the top or bottom of the area. I repositioned them a couple of times at first. They’re really worth it, I saved my leakage that would’ve been basically wasted on pads! Every drop counts ladies! 10/10 recommend, I’m usually a 32B (little bigger now while pumping) and they fit fine, whether you’re on the smaller side, like me, or larger they’re a great fit for all. Just take them apart and give them a good wash, easy to clean for next use.

I’ve built an entire freezer stash of breast milk by using these on the opposite side when feeding my baby. Does a great job catching milk and stays put inside my bra. Love the slim design as they are very discreet. This has been my favorite breastfeeding purchase! Wish I had it with my 1st baby. They are super easy to take apart/put together and wash. Highly recommend!!
