Essence has the best mascaras for a low cost. This one is no exception. The teeth on the brush go through lashes easily and build volume as titled. It also can be build up easily but a lot of product comes out of the tube so it’s best to wipe off the wand on a piece of paper until it dries out a bit. No flakes and washed off easily

This is the worst mascara I have ever had. It is clumpy and the wand has no bristles at all. It’s a giant rubber knob with some bumps on it. It makes it impossible to put on nicely. Will not try again

This mascara is great for the price. It adds a ton of length and volume with just a swipe. I find the wand picks up to much product so I would suggest wiping some off to avoid clumping. The only real downside for me is that it is extremely difficult to remove. I have had a little bit of smudging like halfway through the day but nothing super bad.

I was hoping based on the reviews, this mascara would be great, however it was only great on the first use. After that, the mascara got extremely clumpy and gross. I could not put it on my lashes without getting huge clumps stuck on the brush. Won't buy again.
