This mascara is truly awful. I’m shocked at all the positive reviews. The wand is too long and the product is too wet which means it gets everywhere! It also runs like crazy for it being “waterproof.” I would not repurchase or recommend anyone buy it.

Honestly one of the worst mascaras I’ve ever used. The fall out was terrible and I would have raccoon eyes after one hour of wear with this on. If I wanted it to last I would need to use a clear mascara first before this one. Definitely do not recommend!

Shocked at how good this is!
I never leave reviews, but because I’m on a make up kick and am trying 537546 diff products. This one is just like a high end waterproof mascara but a literal fraction of the price. It gives you volume - length - and waterproofness. If your gesturing go buy bc of the lack of brand name, don’t. Super happy I took the risk!

Dissapointed
I actually like the volume this waterproof mascara makes my eyes look. But there is one problem, if I put it on my bottom lashes under my eyes smudge. Even if I don't put it under my eyes and only on my top lashes by the end of the day I have raccoon eyes. So to say the least I am dissapointed.

maybe when I was 14
I was sold with the reviews but this was awful for me. This is the type of mascara I used when I was young. The packaging is cute and I like the rubberized handle. I tried one coat and it didn't adhere well but was dry and flaky from the beginning. I ended up with 3 coats. My lashes were dry and it had all flaked off by the end of day. I immediately went back to the higher priced but reliable brand that I love.

I rarely write reviews but this needs one. I’ve never had a mascara that smudges within 20 minutes after application. I put this on as my last step before going to a wedding and the mascara smudge all under my eyes before I even left, then continued to smudge all throughout the occasion so I looked like a raccoon. I’ve never tried any Essence mascara before but after this experience I won’t be buying any again.
