This mascara is great at first application. It's easy to apply, gives great volume, and fluffy, defined lashes; However, at the end of the day, I have raccoon eyes. I have combination skin, but don't usually have issues with eye makeup transfer.

Looks great right away…
My lashes look exceptional when I first do my lashes with this mascara. But I work a 6hr day and by the time I get home I have panda eyes and little flakes. Love other Essence mascara but this one doesn’t work for me.

The best for my pale whisps of eyelashes
You might say I have the eyelashes of an albino mouse. Almost. That’s why I need this mascara so much! I’ve been buying it for years and nothing else in this price range has ever done so much for my pale, this eyebrows. On top of that, it doesn’t flake like a lot of other products. I love that it stays on when I cry really well (I’m a mom in grad school so it happens) or somehow get my face wet. Even when it started looking a little messy, I used a little spoolie and re arranged my lashes and was fine. It removes well with warm water or micelar water.

Definitely worth the buy
I keep on going back to the same mascara over and over again. Every time I try a new one from a different brand I instantly regret it. I usually curl my eyelashes and apply the mascara and honestly that’s all I need to do, it keeps the curl in place even after applying the mascara and if I really want to kick it up a notch I’ll add another layer and I’ll be more of like a doll eye look. I bought this mascara at least 7 times and I love it! That’s all I have to say <3

Not all day wear
I did like at first. I have blond straight lashes and seeing the videos of people using this mascara I was interested. I went to the store and bought it. I really liked it in the beginning, when I first tested it out I only wore it for 3 hours and then I took it off. Then I started wearing to my 8 hour school days. It FLAKES under your eyes after about two and half hours. I have creases under my eyes because being a student I get no sleep, and the flakes get in between the creases and stay there. I’ve been using this mascara since December. I always wait a couple months before really judging a product so I actually know how it works. If you don’t rub your eyes a lot it’s a GREAT option. If you don’t like the thick wand I wouldn’t suggest this particular mascara but I know essence has amazing mascara. This is an okay/mid product. Btw I’m taking about the WATER PROOF ONE!!
