Description
The EVO low profile window air circulator provides Innovative Design, and Advanced Performance. This window fan provides multi-directional airflow and automatic internal oscillation that circulates air throughout the entire room. The patented design and advanced high torque motor, the air chamber draws fresh cool air from the outside into the rooms while preserving the view from the window. Featuring a touch pad control panel with 4 speed levels to change the rate of air flow as needed. The 3 directional airflow settings allow you to adjust the air chamber to the airflow direction that best cools the room. Use the electronically controlled exhaust mode to remove hot stale air from the inside of the room.
No need to get up with the adjustable remote control and timer feature. Adjust the fan settings to your liking with the remote and set the fan to turn off in 1, 2, 4, 8 hours. The weather-resistant case protector with washable bug screen seals the opening while keeping bugs and pollen out of the room. There are adjustable side panels that fit up to 40-inch window openings to use the window fan in almost any regular window.
This product conforms with UL507 Water Spray Test for an appliance inserted in a window opening and IPX4 Water Test involves fixing window fan to the window sash of the window and spraying water from various directions and angles on the exposed outdoor part of the sash to simulate strong winds and heavy rain.

A: Per the listing this is IPX4 rated which IPX4 is an industry standard rating that indicates a device's resistance to water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for "light rain."

A: If you look under the specifications section of the description, you will see it states it is 25 inches wide, and with the foam added it can fit a window up to 40 inches.

A: No, it is not an air conditioner. It will bring the air in from the outside. I turn it on at night when the air cools down outside. It does help cool the room down.

Not sure if the people giving bad reviews are suffering from a loss of smarts from their respective heat issues, but this unit does not advertise itself as an AC unit. It is a fan that blows iward and outward, an air circulator, which is exactly what it does, and it does this with significantly less space than a typical window FAN. I've bonked mine around pretty good from multiple moves in a short period of time and it is still going just fine.

The fan seems like a good fan, but I received a returned unit. The plug wasn’t wrapped, the screen is dirty, the battery in the remote was dead and the remote was taped to bag with different tapes, and the manual is for a power tool, not the fan. I have no idea if there is a problem with this unit and that’s why it was returned or they just changed their mind. It’s too expensive to take a chance it will stop working. I don’t want to give the product a bad review because someone just taped up a returned item and resold it without checking it first.

Doesn’t actually cool. Just pulls air from outside and makes it a little bit cooler. This is not a replacement for a window unit. Better off buying a $20 box fan and putting that in the window instead. Would have more power too. Overall, not a good working product that is way over priced.

I googled ac window unit and a picture of this popped up. I went to target and picked it up, not even questioning it. Got home and realized it’s just a fancy window fan… it was a little misleading considering one of the photos says “pulls cool air in” and it makes it look like a small ac. Maybe it’s just me, but I definitely did not realize this until I got home.

This fan worked for me last summer, I just installed it into my window for this summer and it's not working anymore. The fan is going but they are somehow pointing in the wrong direction, so there isn't any air flow coming out. It's very disappointing. I agree with others, just buy a conventional fan.

It's solid, performs well, everything works nicely with one issue that isn't too major, but some might find it hard to be fine with. The fan has an "upward" angle setting for the air, but unfortunate, it seems that the air actually doesn't go upwards as much as I'd like. If the straight air function goes straight, the upward air function goes straight plus a single inch. It just misses my face unfortunately. Other than that, it's quite a good fan.

This fan works perfectly for our upstairs bedrooms. We have one that I turn on exhaust during the day and I change the mode to draw fresh air in at night. We haven't set our cooler up yet, but the fan will also come in handy to pull the cool air into both rooms upstairs. It has 3 intake settings. An auto setting. And an exhaust setting. This fan is very quiet which makes it perfect for bedrooms with horizontal windows.
