FHI Heat 1900 Platform Dryer - Black - 1500 Watts

After nearly 1 month, it stopped blowing hot air. For this price point, that’s unacceptable.

Bought in December, but didn’t really start using it until May or June after my hair grew out, and it has already stopped working. It won’t turn on at all. The “warranty” only applies when you purchase from a professional site, and even then it costs $35 to process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it to diffuse my curly hair and I loved my results !! The hair dryer is super light weight, my arm didn’t even get tired !! And it is so powerful that it was able to dry my curls fully in around 30 minutes with no frizz !!

I had a previous FHI dryer that lasted about 15 years. It finally stopped working late last year. I went searching for a new dryer & finally on my 3rd try purchased another FHI. Can’t say enough great things about these dryers. Here’s hoping this one lasts as long as my 1st dryer. One thing for sure, the next time I need a dryer I will not even try anything else. Thanks for a great product!

I received this blow dryer TWO months ago and it stopped blowing hot. I’ve had cheap blow dryer last wayyyy longer. Don’t waste your money!

The highest heat was warm AT BEST would have taken forever to dry.

I loved this blow dryer the first year and a half. However, it seems like the heat level that the blow dryer uses is too hot for the dryer itself. The front of the dryer has melted and warped so that the nozzle will no longer stay on the dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found out about this hairdryer while staying at a luxury vacation resort. I fell in love with it and had to buy it. It dries your hair so quickly and makes your hair so shiny and smooth. I tried a bunch of different hairdryers but they were so heavy, expensive, and loud, and the button placements were weird. I love the different heat and speed options and the cool shot button that clicks on and off without having to hold it down. I opted for the plain black because the metallic colors looked too shiny. It has a really long 9 foot cord which I don’t need, so I just tie up a little bit of it. I would highly recommend this dryer.

After just a few uses, the attachments will not stay on. Mine came with 3 pieces and each will pop off almost as soon as it touches hair. It is infuriating, especially give the amount paid for this blow dryer. I don't know the solution short of having to replace it. It will not be with FHI if that is the case.

On the highest heat setting it still blows cool/warm air at most. Takes longer to blow dry my hair than my old 10 year old hairdryer. Very disappointed.

This is wonderfully light weight. I am getting a little older and my hands are getting a little weaker/painful. Having a light weight HD are necessary for me. Love the different attachments, which gave me a struggle to get the nozzle on (so my husband put it on for me). But the attachment doesn't fall off like my last HD's did. It's on and not going anywhere until you remove it! Nor does the venty cover thingy on the back fall off either, as did my last HD. Love the cooling button that stays on and not have to keep holding in to work (again, like my last HD.) I have found using cool shots at the end of drying helps to set the style and give it some shine. However, there needs to be some sort of indicator light on this HD somewhere to tell me when the cool shot is in use. I have pushed the button a number of times and waited to see if it was getting cooler or not, as it is a little hard to tell for quite some seconds if it's really the cool shot or not....hence , the 4 star instead of 5 star rating I would have loved to give this CHROME HD. Having said that, I would highly recommend this HD. It really is fabulous!

It’s not made for thick hair the attachment comb is bend from my hair because it’s too thick. The attachment comb is thin plastic not hard thick plastic like the bone handle comb. I wish I didn’t buy it.

I love it. It’s light weight which makes it easier to use. Dries my hair quickly with less frizz for my thick hair.
