I do not recommend this brand at all. This app is terrible—it’s torture to try and watch a playback. Live view is slow, the video constantly lags, and searching for a recording is a nightmare. Worst of all, it’s not recording 24/7, which makes the whole system basically useless. I’m specifically referring to the model that includes one Wi-Fi camera and three additional ones that connect to it. If I could return this garbage, I definitely would. It would be much more useful if the system allowed users to choose whether to record 24/7 or not, and if it included the option to adjust video quality—to either improve the image or extend recording time.

I bought 3 of these to cover a large area. All three systems CONSTANTLY disconnect from the network for no reason even while testing it just feet away from the router. It is very stressful to get a notification while you're away from your house and a person is detected then not being able to access any of the footage because the camera system disconnected from the network for no reason at all. None of the footage is saved online unless you do so manually, so every time the cameras disconnects, you lose access to all the recordings and disconnects happen frequently when trying to playback recordings. If anyone steals or breaks the main camera, all your footage from all 4 cameras is instantly gone with no backup. The connectivity issues, even while connected to strong WIFI, make the cameras basically unusable for long periods of time and majorly unreliable.

Main camera failed even when the other 3 do update

The main camera of this system falls to load in the App. The other there update slower than other swann wifi cameras I have in the house. Also these additional 3 cameras apparently are not compatible with any other swann DVR, so I cannot reuse the working cameras.

Got it in November last year from Price mart, main unit went offline, realised cam had condensation in it , took it down and unit had rusty water seeping out the back by speaker grill, other channels have video and motion still

Bought this only a couple of weeks ago. Firstly I've had issues viewing live and playback through the app while on the same WiFi but have been told it's an issue with my broadband provider who have said there's nothing wrong with it! Secondly the recordings are really pointless. We had someone try and get into our property and we were sent an alert of person detected but when we viewed the playback all we saw was literally the back of the persons head as they were heading away from the property, yes the person would've had no choice but to face the camera on approach to the property!! It would be better if the recordings included a few seconds BEFORE the actual event. Honestly, please don't waste your money on this. I would send it back and ask for a refund but do you think I can be bothered to pay to have it all uninstalled......? No.

We installed this system in our barn to monitor mares during foaling season and it works great. Wires take a little longer to install system, but exterior camera reached wi-if from the house and does a great job. App on our phones works great as well. Would highly recommend this system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Fourtify 4 camera Wi-Fi security system by Swann outside the perimeter of my home and so far, I am very pleased with the performance. This is our first multi-camera monitoring security system and after familiarizing myself with the app and messing around with the positioning of each camera for a strong signal the installation was fairly easy. I do recommend watching a few videos and using the manual as both helped tremendously. The features on this security system are optimal, you get a wide range of viewing, 1080p HD, night vision, cloud memory card storage, and it works with Google & Alexa. The main camera is the only camera that has the speaker and microphone however I would have preferred all the cameras to at least pick up sound as well. Mounting the cameras was easy, these can be used indoors or outdoors and configuring the app was easy to connect to and you will need a power source for the AC adaptor. Overall, this is a great multi-camera security system that’s easy to install and offers optimal viewing that’s reliable w/true detect notification alerts. I would most definitely recommend to others.

The app is a nice to be able to see the cameras from a mobile device with great high quality picture. The 3 additional cameras get wired back to the main camera, so the hardest part is running the wires where you want and need them. Night sight is great for viewing at night and there is a SD card slot to increase the recording time. Overall the system is great, but professional installation is recommended to hide the wiring.

When I opened the box I easily realized everything I needed for installation was included in the box. I spent a couple hours on a Saturday after noon hanging them up and by the afternoon I was ready to go. The app was simple to use, just a quick download and I could see each angle in crystal clear pictures. I love the notifications, I had to make a few adjustments to the sensitivity but that was to be expected. I named each camera by the area it is around the house, so when I get a pop up on my phone it will say motion detected back yard. When I click on the notification it brings up a live view of that camera. I also love the aback feature and find by self checking the nightly notifications every morning. There are a few extra stinging I've still been playing around with and have to get used to but that will come with time. They even sent stickers for the windows! Great set of cameras and now I have my whole property secured.

Simple setup make this a great add on for any home owner or renter who wants to make sure your stuff stays your stuff. Simple plug into power and hook up your Wi-Fi and your pretty much set to go. Sdcard recording and smart phone alerts and controls let you know what’s going on at all times. Records in full 1080p, let’s you talk to people on the other end, and allows for night time vision. The kit can with 4 cameras and one of the cameras is your main that the 3 other camera cables run too. You just need one plug outlet to power all 4 cameras, the app is very easy to understand
