A: Hi there! The full ingredient list can be found on directly on the bottle for your convenience. Our Straight and Wavy Hair shampoo and conditioner contain a silicone called Propoxytetramethyl piperidinyl dimethicone (we know, it's a mouthful!) - we use it because it's an excellent conditioning and protecting agent that protects hair from thermal damage, adds shine, and helps give a soft, silky texture. Our Curly and Coily Hair shampoos and conditioners are silicone-free, since many with Type 3 and Type 4 hair follow the Curly Girl Method(TM) and prefer to avoid silicones. Our #hairgoal booster shots are all silicone-free!

Q: When compared to the customized products you sell through your website, how strong is the fragrance in the products that Target carries? Is the fragrance strength light, medium, or strong? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :)

A: Hi there! The only fragrance offered in retail is our most popular nude (p)each. The fragrances are at slightly different levels than the 3 offered on our website, our retail fragrance level is closest to the medium level!

Q: The boosters are fragrance free. WHY couldn't you make the shampoos and conditioners fragrance free?? I can't use products with synthetic fragrance. What a bummer.

Cute idea but shipping is poor. I would definitely give it 4/5 for in store purchasing. Made my hair feel the same as If i was to use any shampoo, low or high end. I like the idea and the price isn’t too bad for a customized shampoo. My pods came broken so I couldn’t really enjoy the shampoo.

The Function Of Beauty Straight Hair Customizable Conditioner is a medium thick conditioner that leaves the hair feeling smooth and nicely scented after leaving it in for a few minutes in your hair. The added customizable hair goals, volume and anti-frizz, were very easy to open and squeeze into the bottle. The added goals and conditioner together smelled very green with a touch of coconut. This conditioner in specific hasn’t been too different from my usual conditioner, but after a few more uses it may make my hair smoother. Overall, it leaves your hair feeling smooth and untangled making it easier to comb after showering. Received complimentary from Function of Beauty x Target.

I was gifted by Function of Beauty x Target Straight Hair Conditioner free in exchange for my honest review. First and foremost, the base conditioner smells amazing similarly to the shampoo and it has the perfect amount of “butter feel”. I naturally have straight hair with minimal waving, and this formula worked best for me with the shampoo and anti frizz and volume booster that I added to my shampoo. In a conditioner, I look for something that is going to detangle, moisturize, repair, and keep my hair looking shiny. This conditioner met all my criteria, and I was surprised that it didn’t leave any unwanted buildup or residue causing excess oiliness after drying. Overall I’m pleased with this duo.

My scalp has been feeling so good, and not at all itchy like it gets when I use other shampoo. I have been using a drug store and organic ingredients one but this is by far the best out there!!! This conditioner is different than any other conditioner I have used. I saw results right after my first time use. My hair is damaged from cosmetic color it felt extremely bonded and healthy after my first use. Separate from the conditioner bottle, you can buy mixers to add into your conditioner that help you complete your hair care goals!!

I absolutely love this conditioner I got it complimentary from functionofbeauty. My hair felt so dry and frizzy and just plan before. now that I have used this incredible conditioner that has all changed my hair feels so smooth and soft and have no frizzyness to it. It has also gave me some volume and just makes my hair feels so healthy and it smells absolutely amazing it it's completely different from the brand I was using the ingredients are amazing compared to the other brand and the smell is way better then others, the feel you get from this conditioner is like no other I would highly recommend.
