Q: The consistency for this was very thin, liquidy, very different from past Gains I have bought. Did anyone else notice this?

A: We haven't made any recent changes to the formula, so you should see the same consistency that you're used to. However, if the liquid was stored in somewhere extremely hot (such as a hot car, or in direct sunlight), it may cause the liquid to become thin. Love gain products!
My items always smell wonderful with this detergent. I used to use pods over liquid but I’ve come to realize that the liquid is more cost effective. Same smell and does the same! It dissolves in the water easily and doesn’t leave any residue.
