Description
Coco Coir is 100% natural, biodegradable and organic since it only comes from coconuts. Coconuts are extremely abundant and do not need any fertilizers for it to grow. It is completely chemical & toxin free. Luster Leaf introduces their natural coco coir pith in a compressed 1.4lb. brick. This premium seed starting mix is an ideal growing medium for organic applications. It retains water extremely well for growing plants hydroponically (soil free). Feel good about this renewable product, using what was once a waste product (coconut husks) and re-purposing it to grow more plants! Additionally, Coco Coir is sterile - it's a naturally "clean" substance without other stray organisms tainting its affectivity that it is considered to be a very good seed starting medium.
