Watch is fine - phone apps kills battery

The watch itself is fine, but the two phone apps "Connect" and "Connect Plus" constantly drained the battery on my iPhone 16 Pro. 80% battery usage in 24 hours. Even with "background app refresh" turned off. I've deleted the two apps and my iPhone is back to 4-5 days battery life. The Garmin software engineers need to take a class on iPhone battery management.

Upgraded from a Fenix 6 pro solar that I used for over 5 years. Was in between going to Fenix 8, but after many reviews, I elected for the Enduro 3. Nice big watch face, incredible battery life, and all the updates that come with a newer model, without the price tag of the Fenix 8. Would highly recommend!

Bought this watch just over 2 weeks ago and have taken it off for maybe 30 min in that time. very comfortable to wear all day, lighter weight than expected and nylon band is very comfortable. took me a couple of days to figure out how tight to strap the band and how high to place up my wrist but after some time and getting used to it, i forget i'm wearing it. i love all the data and customization on the watch faces/screens and ability to customize individual settings within activities. Battery life is exceptional, watch is reporting 19 days of battery left after wearing for 2 weeks and doing roughly an hour of "activity" each day. the flashlight feature is awesome when wearing it at night to quickly see something in the dark without pulling out my phone to turn on light, very handy, used it every day so far. MIP display is crisp and easy to see in the daylight, in the dark the backlight lights it up just fine. the one single item that i've noticed not working each time is the radar feature within the weather widget, sometimes the screen will divide into quadrants and flash white, black and grey before clearing up and showing the radar. outside of that one item, i have yet to experience any issues, and would highly recommend this watch for someone prioritizing worry free battery life and tons of features if you like to nerd out on workout data both indoors and out.

Avid runner, golfer, occasional cyclist. Coming from a long list of Garmin watches for many years. Most recently Tactix 7. Chose the Enduro for price, battery life, wear comfort, and a preference for MIP displays. So far, I have been absolutely impressed with this unit. I can truly say that I forget I'm wearing it at times b/c it's just so light and comfortable. That's important to me as a runner and golfer. Being outdoors often it certainly benefits from solar and the new screen is very easily visible in sunlight compared to my previous watches with Amoled displays. Love the watch all around and think it'll be hard to top. 5 stars, no regrets!

Yes I debated MIP vs AMOLED. Just but the thing. No regrets at all, might be overkill for a casual athlete like me but 32 day battery life is worth it. Never had an issue with the screen not being visible in Florida. Sun is always out and bright.

Watch itself is very nice and light, nylon band is very good and little elastic, screen appears very good even when brightness is at 10%. Battery appears be less than advertised even with minimal usage and not all sensors working all the time, but overall happy with the purchase, but only 4 stars for now

I’ve had my Enduro 3 for a month or so and am loving it. I purchased it to replace my Fenix 6pro. The Enduro has all of the features I regularly use. The solar feature/battery life is fantastic. It’s feels light on my wrist and very easy to navigate the menus.

The battery life is unbelievable. My 945 Forerunner died on mile 45 of 50. I will never have to deal with a low battery again. Rock solid Garmin 👍🏻👍🏻

I've been using this watch for about 4 months. I was looking for a watch that would allow me to track all-day activities for a week without needing to charge. The battery is massive and the watch allows you to dial the satellite check in frequency down to extend it even further. I love the fact that I can load music and podcasts on here, sync my airpods, and leave my phone at home or in the car. It's so nice to not have to lug the smartphone brick along! The solar "charging" is a nice feature that further preserves battery on long backcountry trips. Paired with the gold standard Garmin connect app, you can track a ton of health metrics. A+ product.

I upgraded to the Enduro 3 from the Instinct 2 and have had it for close to 6 months now. I can’t see myself ever needing or wanting anything else out of a watch! The battery life is incredible (only charge about once a month even with frequent GPS usage), the fitness/sleep tracking is top tier, and the navigation with topo maps is so amazing for long trail runs. This watch is Garmin’s best kept secret because I truly think that it is better than the Fenix.

I’m coming from a forerunner 55, so this beast is a drastic upgrade. The main reason I wanted this particular watch was for the battery life to be able to run ultra marathons and still have battery left over. And this watches battery life is insane! When it comes to garmin watches, I think that they all operate somewhat the same so skill wise, anyone should be able to pick up on how to operate it. I was worried about the Big watch face also because I have small wrists, but I love it! Easy to see and track my runs no matter the impairment I’m experiencing! I would suggest this watch to anyone wanting extreme battery life!

I bought this to replace my Apple Watch. I got so tired of having to charge my Apple Watch all the time. This has all the features I could ask for. I chose this over the fenix 8 to save money and I don’t use the mic/speaker very often. I really like the health features Garmin has packed into this watch. And the battery life is to die for!!! Great job Garmin.

Lightest, most capable, most rugged, and great looking Garmin Watch to date. Unbelievable battery life. Charging it once every 36 days or longer with solar! Crispest MIPS display. Feather light. And, as usual, Garmin watches continue to rock by *continuously* tracking and showing you your heart rate (unlike Apple Watches that do not do that continuously, they just sample, and do not show your Heart Rate in real time in a complication.) I've owned and still own many Garmin and Apple watches, I have compared them many times to see which one works best for me, and I always go back to Garmin because Garmin watches rock. I also really like the always on MIPS display and this watch is the clearest yet. Granted, other watches with AMOLED displays such as the Fenix 8 might be brighter and prettier to some, but I dislike changes in brightness based on ambient light and much rather have an stable watch face and longest possible battery life (up to unlimited in some modes with solar, very important in a long grid down scenario.) Kudos to Garmin for the Enduro 3, their very best watch to this day.

I'll just listen the most useful benfiits for me; Vibration Alarm + Timer, MIP low battery drain, 3 weeks - Infinity Battery (Battery saving mode), I can see my heart rate and get stress alerts, I get health reports about me sleep, sports modes, GPS tracking, insane customization, SMS/apps alerts allow me to put my phone away and Ill get alerts as long as its in my vicinity. there's just so many useful features in this thing. this is an extremely expensive watch and something I wasn't planning on getting but Im glad I did, it's extremely useful & minimal the way I like it.

I switched to the Enduro 3 from a Fenix 7x, which I had for almost three years. The Fenix 7x was great for its time. But by today's standards left much to be desired. So I figured that I would give the Enduro 3 a shot. The Enduro 3 had a better battery life, a crisper, clearer screen, a brighter flashlight, better mapping with the better screen, better solar charging, a better heart rate monitor that does the ECG stuff, better UI for the weight lifting features, and I am sure I am just scratching the surface. I mostly use it for Hiking/Backpacking, Strength Training, light on the running aspects but do run occasionally. And I do some water sports like Kayaking and Canoeing. But for someone who is actively trying to keep AI out of my wearables, this was a great choice for me compared to the Fenix 8 line. Not sure how Garmin did it with this one, but of all the models out there right now, it's pretty spectacular that they got this watch at its current price point. I would argue this is the current crown jewel of the Garmin lineup. Loving it. Phenomenal device. Great user experience.

So far this is my favorite Garmin smart watch. I don't use the speaker function so I really don't feel like I'm missing out with anything. The battery life on this is tremendous and planning some long distance trips makes this well worthwhile. The training features and apps are excellent.
