Well this turned out NOTHING like the color it's labeled as. V2...joke I've gotten better violet color results from and RV2 dye. I REALLY wish I would have checked the reviews before I dyed my hair but nothing I can do now. The only positive thing I can say about this is it doesn't stink and I actually really like the conditioner treatment it comes with.

I have used Garnier for about 20 years! I have used the shade R2 for about 8 years. I LOVE the color. Yes it bleeds BUT it never fades. The bleeding will stop. It also covers grays perfectly!

Should have read the reviews! My hair is red/copper now. I have been playing with just a wash in wash out people color and decided to take the plunge with permanent. Now I am stuck with this! My hair was a natural dark blonde so it wasn’t even dyed before so no excuse for this. Absolutely zero purple here.

This colourant was utter rubbish. Not only did it fail to colour the hair but it left the hair dry and brittle after only leaving the product on for 25 minutes. The hair was already a light blonde and this product failed to cover the grey and make the hair lighter as promised.

Like many of the previous reviews I had hoped for beautiful purple color instead I got a red I didn't want! I've colored my hair purple many times in my life and never had this issue. I really think there is a production problem somewhere up the line and instead of researching and fixing it this company is content with us ruining our hair. I should of stuck with Feria

I have been using this for the past 6 months to cover root grow out of gray hair. And it works almost how I hoped it would. On the initial color on my white roots are a beautiful dark indigo color which lasts for as long as I can stand to let it grow out. What I had hoped for is that the color would continue to be blue as it grew out. I touched up the roots, but it appears that the next time I color it turns the blue hair black, so that again only my roots are blue. Its more fun than using black and doesn't stain as bad, so its great for me.

I used this product tonight expecting a darker color violet since my hair was dark brown to begin with. What I did not expect was the bright red I ended up with! Looking at the other reviews now, maybe this needs to be checked because the color on the box is not the color you get.

Easy to apply and doesn’t fry your hair but the color is not at all what was expected. I had blonde/light brown hair to start and the color I ended with is more reddish/pink than deep purple. Maybe you have to leave it longer than the directions say but just disappointed in the outcome.

I dye my hair tonight with that light intense aurburn and I though it was going to look a least burgundy or red but my hair looks that same color as it was before the dye , and i love that product don’t get me wrong but it doesn’t work and what i love that most is that small conditioner it is really nice and smell nice

I followed the directions exactly. My hair was plenty light enough to make it to platinum according to the side of this box. Plenty light enough and yet it still turned out bright yellow/orange. I should've known better, stupid box color.

Do not use this unless you want red hair. I put this over virgin and bleached hair. It's clearly red! There is no purple in this at all.
