Love
We love these bulbs soooo much. The app is confusing at first, but once you understand then it’s great. The app runs smoothly, and there are so much things to okay with. My only complaint is these lights can’t really make a great color purple. It ends up being this light kinda pinky lilac color. Still pretty but I love purple and wanted a bright purple color for some rooms, so that’s kind of sad.

These were given to me as a gift from my daughter at Christmas of 2023. I wanted to update my home with something other than clicking on a switch. It was time to get into the 21st century. These were an easy set up and even went as far as hooking them up to Alexa and telling the light to turn off. How amazing technology is!.

Not smart
Set up is unreliable and is a low quality company. If you want smart light bulbs go somewhere else.

Disappointed :(
The only time it works is when you create a schedule to turn it on/off in the app. I have only been able to get it to sync with my Google home once. If you want a light for your google devices, I’ve heard it’s better to just get a hub for your outlets instead

Frustrating to use, super inconsistent
The performance of these bulbs is very inconsistent and I can not tell when it will decide to work. I personally wanted to connect these to alexa so it's easy to use and I could create routines involving lights. Another user mentioned how the bulbs can connect to alexa fine one minute but then another alexa says the signal can't be found. Both of my apps are updated, it's connected to the Ghz version required the bulbs just are not great. I would recommend going for another brand. I thought I could trust these because they have the GE logo but no bueno

Does not connect to 5 GHZ
You can’t use high speed internet with these. This is ridiculous. It only connects to 2.4 GHZ not 5. This should be specified on the box. Not until your in the app.

Theres probably better out there
The lights just randomly shut off. At the very least once per use. If you’re using for a long period of time it will shut off a few times. Very annoying!!

Have to pay a monthly fee to use app
Once you download the app it requires a monthly payment to use the app for the bulbs. No thank you. They are being returned tomorrow.

Faulty App, "unresponsive" with Alexa.
Enjoyed these lights a lot after initially purchasing. My lights are connected to Alexa and worked well for about 2-3 months. Since then, the lights frequently go “unresponsive” within Alexa and require completely removing from the Cync app and resetting up. The Cync app has had quite a few issues detecting any sort of network as well - would recommend a different product for smart home users.

Would not connect to the Cync app, and kept disconnecting from the google home app.

Avoid C by GE bulbs
The bulb won’t link with their app (Cync) or directly with Google Home. Their website chat won’t stay connected, and their support phone number (844-302-2943) doesn’t connect. Avoid and go with any other brand.

Garbage
If you want to use these with Google Home, don’t. They stop working at least once a week. Not only does that mean they’re no longer “smart” it means they get stuck at whatever brightness they were when they went out with no way to change them unless you reset them all together. Trash bulbs.

Not worth the price
If I could give these bulb zero stars I would - not worth the waste of money. They don’t work more often than they do.. it’s hit or miss every morning to see if they’ll come on. Like other reviews we had to reset the bulbs more than once a week.

Basic Smart Bulbs, NOT Apple Home Compatible
These are basic smart bulbs. I chose these because there was a Target Circle discount, and they were less expensive than the others for a pair. Unfortunately, these are not supported by Apple’s Home app, though they claim they will be by “end of year.”
