GERARD COSMETICS Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick - 1995 - 0.08 fl oz

I think this is a fake. This is my first time buying this lipstick through target. I have bought it before through the company. It is supposed to be a matte lipstick. This one is creamy and does not dry like it should for long lasting wear.

Dreamweaver has been my go to lip color for years. I’m so glad Target carries it now!

follow this brand on IG. when I found out target sell it was so excited. got the Mile High on sale and love it. beautiful color. and stays on until I used my make up remover. goes on wet let it dry for a minute and bam it's an awesome matte. love it.

I considered ordering this Lipstick after I heard a MUA raving about Gerard Cosmetics’ formula and this “immortal” color being the perfect red. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to pay close to $20 for this, since makeup isn’t really my thing...but after a lot of thought, I decided to go through with this purchase - I was really hoping for blue undertones and was not totally disappointed when it came to this but I also wasn’t impressed. I am a rather tan Mexican woman, but since quarantine I’ve been more on the Callie-Torres-during-season-2-of-Grey’s tan lol. And this didn’t look too good on me. The formula is not the best(not sure if I received an expired lippie but it looked kinda old and chunky). Was definitely a hydrating formula but I feel this would not hold up well and would require reapplication throughout the day. For the price ($18) and the (small) size, I’d opt for something cheaper and better. Can find drugstore brands for 1/2 or 1/4 of the price and much better quality... gave two stars because it’s def hydrating and I think the color isn’t *that* bad and could work for a lighter skinned person.

This is my favorite liquid lipstick I’ve been wearing it for years and always got compliments. I’m so glad it’s on target now
