OK, my Chi one inch flat iron, lasted 15 years. Yes truly lasted that long. I was hesitant on a replacement flat iron. My hair dresser recommended the GHD. Have been happy with the purchase. Love the sound effect when it is turned on, temp ready and shut off. Great improvements since I bought my last flat iron. Good Investment.

This is the first flat iron I’ve purchased to curl my hair with. It doesn’t always glide smoothly. Sometimes I can feel my hair being pulled. I also let my sister try it. She curls her hair all the time with a flat iron. She also felt some pulling. Also, my curls do not last 24 hours. That may just be my hair type, but I’ve had curls last days with titanium curling irons. Ceramic just seems to be ok. I’m hoping with more practice, things will get better.

I bought it and didn’t read the return instructions before I got rid of the box. Otherwise I would have just returned it. This straightener isn’t for anyone with texture to their hair.

I love the GHD brand and was so excited for my new straightener! Unfortunately, just a week past the 21-day "no hassle" guarantee, it stopped working. It turns on great, then as it's warming up, all of a sudden it starts beeping and cools down. The beeping doesn't stop until I unplug it altogether. Very disappointed.

I am so clumsy when it comes to styling my hair. I always think that someone else can do it better than I can, and I used to pay to make myself feel that way. I watched all the YouTubes, and some IG posts of girls using the styler and how easy it was, I had to try. I purchased it and the first try, I was like, "Ok...it's ok." I did not have the muscles in my hands to really do the flip right, to keep flipping and to keep tension on the hair. I watched more videos, sectioned my hair differently and by the second try, I was like, "Ok, I would wear this hair to work." By the third try, I was ready for the Golden Globes! LOL I highly recommend this product and I also recommend being patient with yourself and with the outcome.

I absolutely love this hair tool, GHD is always very reliable and you can tell the difference between a GHD hair tool and another. The only note would be to add some sort of a grip on the handle, especially if you wanted to curl your hair. Other than that, amazing product, great investment.

This is my third straight ever. My kids keep taking them when they visit. They work so well and are very easy to handle

I have curly hair that I wear 99% of the time. I bought the GhD curlers to have perfect curls and this baby is my transition from curly to a smooth blowout in no time. My daughter who wears her straight all the time is obsessed with it.

I have used a GHD flat iron for the past several years. I just replaced it with a newer version and I love it even more than my first one.

I no longer see this review on my account from a few months ago, so I’m reposting. I am loving my new ghd Chronos Styler! I plug it in, push the button to turn it on and it makes a little chime. A few seconds later it makes another little chime telling me that it's already reached the heated temperature 365 degrees and the button is stays lighted up. It's so fast! I did try to stick to the "one pass" that ghd suggests, however I did notice that since I am in the process of growing out my grays, (officially 1 year down) those were kinda wonky up at the top of my head. I was able to do a quick 2nd pass on those and they were more manageable. I've used this to straighten my hair a quite a few times, and to also add bouncy volume. I'm still practicing on adding tighter curls, as l've always used curling wands for that. The one thing that I didn't think that I was going to like, ended up being my favorite feature! I like that there is no temperature control, there is just the one button. This prevents me from turning the temperature up too high! I have been known to crank the temp all the way up to 425/450 on my past flat irons, risking the chance of damaging my hair. The ghd Chronos Styler is designed to prevent this. This is a great hair tool and l've been raving about it to all of my friends and family!

This product works wonders on my natural hair. One pass and I’ve never seen my hair so shiny and straight, but it’s extremely too hot and my hair smells burnt every time I use it. I am hoping there are other option with GHD where I can adjust the heat setting.

I have long straight thick hair and this iron didn’t do what it promised to do. I had to return it.

I purchased the chronos after my 5 yr old GHD was involved in an accident lol. Anyways I love this flat iron. It is the best! Love the automatic temperature adjustment. I can tell the difference when I flat iron a large section of hair VS a small section. It leaves my hair feeling by so so smooth and so shiny. This flat iron cuts my styling time down from 40 with another name brand flat iron, to 20 with the GHD. No joke. I’ve also curled my daughter’s hair with it and the curls come out looking beautiful. Over all so happy with this purchase and I’m recommending to everyone!

I had the original Platinum straightener so I was very excited to try his one. It works just fine, but it is just a basic plug, not the surge protector type.
