Guests are saying
This sunscreen has garnered mixed feedback from guests, with many appreciating its lightweight and sheer formula that doesn't leave a white cast. However, several guests experienced adverse reactions, including breakouts and irritation, particularly those with sensitive skin. While some found it effective and moisturizing, others noted issues with pilling and a noticeable white cast on darker skin tones. Overall, it may work well for those with fair skin but could pose challenges for others.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I literally have a second degree sunburn on my face currently. It’s so painful. I wore this yesterday, applied before going to the beach and then reapplied exactly as the instructions stated. WHERE IS THE SPF IN THIS THING??? brb going to get a cancer screening like WHAT?

Does the job but SMELLS SO WEIRD. And the smell sticks around for hours and hours. It also leaves a white cast - not terrible but definitely noticeable.
Contains Butyloctyl Salicylate, not 100% mineral

Plastic is bad - 1 month ago
This product contains butyloctyl salicylate, which is not currently required in the US to be listed as a sunscreen active but functions as a chemical sunscreen filter. This does not necessarily make the product bad or unsafe, but the protection in this product is not *only* mineral.

okay, story time: my mom and i used this sunscreen for quite a while with no problems. i actually preferred it to other facial sunscreens i’ve used, especially since it’s mineral (i’m allergic to a few common chemical sun filters). in recent months, my mom started developing itchy rashes all over her face and neck. her doctor said it was definitely an allergic reaction. turns out it was this sunscreen!! despite this, i kept using it and continued to have no problems… until this morning, when i woke up with an itchy rash all over my chest and neck, but only in the places i used the sunscreen. for some reason, my face hasn’t reacted except for one small itchy spot on my right cheek, but the chest and neck rash is literally in the shape of my square-neck blouse i wore yesterday. i had used the sunscreen to protect the exposed area… ended up with a rash far itcher and more uncomfortable than a sunburn!! apparently butyloctyl salicylate IS a chemical(?) sun filter, and it is in this product, so make sure you do your research better than i did!! ofc you don’t have to listen to me, if it works for you, then by all means keep using it. just be very careful as reactions are not always immediate!!

Like many other reviews, I also experienced a bad reaction with itching and flaking skin after using it for 2 days. Definitely not for sensitive skin!

The formula must be different now 😭 wish i read the reviews. This is my 2nd day wearing it (9am-9:30pm) and it made my whole face swell, my neck has been itchy with some redness & patchiness/swelling. I think it caused me to have an allergic contact dermatitis reaction or something. Do not buy 😭 and im not even a sensitive-skin girly

This is not a good sunscreen for most people. It leaves my skin red immediately after applying and pills really bad. The white cast so bad, I had someone tell me it looked like my skin was flaking off.

Please do not buy this product I had terrible reaction. They changed the formula it’s is not the same as it was before. Although the sunscreen is sheer it completely burned my forehead. I patch tested it there because I saw the ingredient change and I’m glad I didn’t apply it to my whole face. But I regret buying it . Please stop changing good things the product was perfect before but now it doesn’t work for my skin.

I was excited to try this product like others. It did live up to the no white cast for me, but I had an allergic reaction after using. I broke out pretty badly all over my face and neck and had to use RX steroids. The itching and burning lasted for days. I returned the product for a refund. My guess is that my skin did not like the citric acid. Either way, I do not recommend this sunscreen.

I really wanted to like this sunscreen since it’s lightweight, kinda like a serum type consistency, and it was in my price range. However, only after about 4 days of using, I noticed manageable, but annoying breakouts. My skin is pretty sensitive, so hopefully this would help with someone else. Also the smell is both chemically and super perfume-y. I might keep trying it, but I’m not so sure :/

Caused an AWFUL allergic reaction within 8 hours of applying it (it was only on my face for about 2 hours!!). Formula was ok but this taught me the importance of patch testing before using a new product! Also, advertised as a mineral sunscreen but contains a chemical filter on closer inspection.
Great feel but slught white cast

This sunscreen is easy to apply, is light on the skin, has a smooth feel and is not sticky. Unfortunately, it did have a slight, but noticeable, white cast for me.
