A: E6000 bonds great to most surfaces but may struggle with some plastics. Try cleaning the plastic nails with alcohol prior to applying for a better bond. Clamp or secure with weight for 24 hours. Thank you for your support of Eclectic Products and Target!

A: I would like to add to what the brand expert suggested by recommending that before applying the glue to the plastic underside of the nail, try sanding it beforehand, or, you could even use a fingernail file. The courser the grain would be better, in my opinion. I like the files specifically meant for acrylic nails. Sanding it will help the adhesive bond better as it will have 'something' to adhere to more than just a smooth surface. Sounds like a fun costume idea!

Q: Does E6000 multi purpose craft glue work on photos? I've used another version of E6000 glue in the past to glue clear glass cabochans to photos but the glue made the photo bleed/look cloudy.

A: E6000 is a solvent based adhesive that cures via the solvent evaporating--it may work for the diamond art canvas and will certainly hold the beads/gems, but its cure time is 24-48 hours and it may perform differently than the adhesive used on the backing/surface. A: E6000 is a great choice for bonding metal to rubber and it will hold very well. It is fully waterproof upon a full cure. Clean both surfaces with acetone or rubbing alcohol prior to applying. For best results apply the product to both surfaces and allow 1-2 minutes for the product to get tacky before mating the two together and clamping/securing with weight for 24 hours. Seen that I could use this glue to repair my shoes and it most definitely didn’t. This glue is too sticky then it continuously leaks out the tube even when pressure isn’t applied and the cap is on.
