The Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Car Seat is our slimmest design that fits 3 car seats across, saving space in your back seat without compromising on the safety you trust and the features you need. This narrow all-in-one car seat grows with your child from rear-facing harness (5-40 lb) to forward-facing harness (26.5-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb). We tested our lightweight 3-across car seat in every configuration, to help ensure your growing family can fit in your vehicle, even with children of different ages who ride in different modes, or when paired with select other Graco car seats. Integrated belt lock-off makes for easy vehicle seat belt installation in forward-facing mode, and allows you to position your seats to maximize space with 3 across. Graco’s exclusive push-button InRight LATCH provides an easy, one-second attachment with an audible click to help ensure secure installation. We made thoughtful design choices to make the SlimFit3 easy to adjust with 3 car seats in the back seat. The No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness to 10 positions with just one motion for just the right fit. Easily adjust the 4-position recline for a better installation and a comfortable ride. The Rapid Remove cover comes off in 60 seconds, without uninstalling the seat or removing the harness, and is machine washable. Plus, the SlimFit3 is slim enough to fit 3 across, but spacious enough to keep your growing child comfy. Breathable mesh AirFlow channels provide improved ventilation to keep your child cool and comfortable. Two cup holders are designed to work with the three-across configuration to keep drinks and snacks close at hand. Fuss-free harness storage pockets conveniently hold the harness out of the way while your child gets in and out. Removable, plush head and body inserts help to keep your infant feeling cradled and comfortable. The steel-reinforced frame provides strength and durability for years of use, and EPS energy-absorbing foam provides effective impact energy management. Q: Does this come with lower anchor attachments? If so, where are they located? The car seat does not feel safe nor secure with out them

A: Thanks for reaching out with this great question! The SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is approved for installation with inflatable seat belts. However, when installing do not use the shoulder belt lock-off with inflatable belt systems. We hope this helps!

A: I think the biggest thing is the newer version (LX) is updated to meet the new federal standards that are coming into effect in June 2025. If you look at the rear facing weight requirements, the LX requires rear facing until 26.5lbs whereas the plain slim fit is a lower weight. Side impact standards are also updated. Most old car seats not updated are still safe to use, but they won’t have the updated safety features. Hope this helps!

Q: Does this meet the new claim of side-Impact Tested to FMVSS 213a? I know this test doesn’t get enforced until June 30, 2025 but I want to get ahead.

A: I believe it does! If you look at the weight requirements for rear facing, it’s updated with the 26.5lb requirement for being flipped forward facing. The older plan slim fit model is not.

A: Thanks for your interest in our limFit3 LX 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat! This model does have a push-button InRight™ LATCH to use in rear and forward facing 5-point harness modes us to 45lb. When this model is in booster mode you can use the InRight™ LATCH up to 100lb since the weight of the child is what is keeping the seat in place, and the vehicle's seatbelt is what is securing the child. The lower anchor attachment fixes the car seat to a designated location, making it difficult to adjust when installing three car seats across. We hope this helps! Graco Team

We placed two front facing next to a rear facing Graco Click Connect in our second row of the Subaru Ascent. They fit safely and the kiddos find them comfortable.

Hope that helps as living in the south baby/toddler won’t overheat during summer or get too hot during winter when they have warmer clothes on. Fits great in my second row of van. Not too wide or bulky but also roomy enough.

Super easy to clean, all the covers snap off and have survived rounds of machine washing. It is easy to install, easy to adjust. Best of all though. It’s not massive. We can EASILY fit three across on a medium size sedan, even on a compact. If you put it in the middle seat, you’ll still have two very usable seats for adults on the back. Even on a compact. (Hyundai Elantra) I kid you not we have bought five of these. They are perfect for a caretaker’s car because it minimizes the impact on rear seat usability. They are so good, we even put them on the minivan, where space is less of a constraint. Buy this one. Trust me.

The best car seat. We have multiple for all the cars and just bought another for our baby when she is ready for a convertible seat. My 4yr old has used this seat since he was 1yo- rear facing and forward facing and will go to booster mode too. I researched all the options and came back to this one again and again. So sleek, and comfortable will all the safety features. Well worth it.
