GRAPE-NUTS are GREAT-NUTS!!

I've been enjoying GRAPE-NUTS for nearly 50 years.
Just like my Mother did, I too like soaking my GRAPE-NUTS in a bowl of milk w/a little sugar for at least 1/2 hr in fridge.
My question is: How does anyone not know that GN is a hard crunchy cereal; it's in smaller packaging?
I also soak my Granola cereals due to the hardness also Cap't Crunch brand cereals.
GRAPE-NUTS are GREAT-NUTS!!

When I was a kid sometimes my dad would make us grape nuts as a late night snack with milk and little sprinkle of sugar, warmed in the microware. So it brings back wonderful memories. But now as an adult, I love it because it adds yummy crunch to my morning greek yogurt (I also add a little chopped walnuts). It is so much healthier than granola with way less sugar. And it is yummier than Fiber One, which I used to use. I just realized it also has so much iron/ folic acid!! I wish I realized this when I was pregnant. This cereal is a powerhouse and is SO under appreciated!!
Great for breakfast or as a light lunch

I have eaten Grape Nuts for many years. My favorite way to eat grape nuts is with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. I put the cereal I. A covered bowl with yogurt and let it soften. I then add fresh fruit maybe berries, sliced peaches or melon. Even toss in some sunflower seeds or other seeds Tastes delicious! I like to eat Grape Nuts this way as a light lunch at work. Energizing lunch.
Period.

I have it with milk, strawberries and blueberries a couple times a week and very muck enjoy it. It's like granola for me but a lot less complicated flavor. Every now and then we'll make parfaits with yogurt, fruit and grape-nuts; very tasty.
This is a great way to start the day!

I opened a brand new box/inner bag today and it smelled rancid and also tasted rancid. The "best if used by date/code" is Jan0625RGA 3 08:51. I would like a coupon to re-purchase at Post expense.
Eat it crunchy, softened to taste, or in smoothies! Amazing!

I love this cereal! I am not one who usually writes a review on anything...BUT...this cereal is very deserving of one. It taste great! It's very nutritious, You can eat it crunchy or let it sit (like you would with Chai seeds) and it will soften up. You choose how soft you get it by how long you let it sit. I let mine sit for about 20 minutes (long enough for me to get a quick shower) and it is perfect! Not soggy like all the other cereals out there, it still has a slight crunch to it that doesn't hurt my teeth! For those of you that are afraid of it hurting your teeth, this is a way that you can still enjoy eating it... Let it sit longer if you want to, yes you loose the crunch BUT it is Not a Soggy Mess of Goo! It still has texture that for me, is still appealing. I don't do soggy! It is so good in my smoothies and shakes too! So I can enjoy my Grape Nuts not just as a nutritious breakfast, but on the go (as a meal on the run) by mixing in with my smoothies and or shakes. I love Grape Nuts cereal! It doesn't give me headaches or upset my digestive system like those GMO foods do. And They have remained a Non GMO product! That set's it there on the top of my list of foods to eat and ENJOY eating! Oh, and did I say that I love Grape Nuts cereal? Let's Eat!! Mmm!
Would love to give five stars...

It's the best cereal on the market. Sadly, Post has decided to turn its back on science as is evidenced by the "non-gmo project" sticker. (That Monarch butterfly on the logo is a natural GMO.) There is nothing wrong with foods produced by genetic engineering. Sad really.

crunchy and "tough," both in taste and texture however the nutrition is tops in the cereal aisle. you get an excellent INSOLUBLE fiber source to make sure your colon stays empty and clean. you also get an great source of iron (NOT as good as beef which is heme-iron and absorbed more readily with higher bioavailability, but that is an animal-based source...), and a very low in sugar breakfast. people don't like the way it tastes...uh, it's healthy food with power-packed nutrition. this isn't gonna taste like fruity pebbles which is rice covered in sugar and cooked in oil. come on. apples to oranges. eat this for the best nutritional value if you want cereal. no added carbs such as raisins or (yikes) high fructose corn syrup.

I have been eating Grape-Nuts for years. Love them with Fage yogurt and fruit. But this morning I broke a tooth eating them. That's probably the last box I will ever buy. I am 71 and need to switch to a less dangerous cereal.

I hate soggy cereal. With Grapes Nuts the kernels stay hard and i don't have to rush to eat! Also you need a significantly less amount of food as the are very filling!
I love mine topped with fresh sliced banana and a little sweetener.
Or with yogurt and fruit
Also high in fiber, iron, and folate for all the baby mamas out there!
