Corn Chex is Awful
HORRIBLE TASTING!!! DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!! Corn Chex continues to taste bland, over toasted and just plain BAD! I have continued to purchase Corn Chex in the hopes that the cereal will begin to taste better. It does not! I have purchased 4 boxes and they all taste terrible. I will be tossing this cereal in the trash. I refuse to eat any more of this awful tasting cereal. Going for forward I will not be purchasing any more boxes of Corn Chex.

Inulin or other added fiber in Corn Chex?
I don't have food allergies but have some sensitivities and have eaten Corn Chex for ages - Lately I've noticed when I do, I get severe gas. Another cereal I used to enjoy I had to stop eating because my dietitian said the company had added inulin, which I can't tolerate. I've wondered if Corn Chex also has had this added? I don't find any info on this either in the packaging or websites.

Peanut Butter Chex
Can you please bring back Peanut Butter Chex in Canada. It was amazing! I'm gluten free, but everyone loved it. When I look for it in the cereal aisle other shoppers also say they wish it would come back.

Honey Nut Chex not palatable.
I tried the Honey Nut Chex for the first time and did not like the taste at all. I ate one bowlful and tossed the rest of the box.

Chex Corn Cereal
I have SEVERE food allergies & corn is the ONLY grain I can eat…but there r other ingredients that cause problems too. I was eating Chex corn cereal for over 2 years with NO PROBLEMS & enjoyed them well about a month ago I started having a severe reaction to something & started logging my food intake & everything pointed to the cereal. I read the ingredients ( which I had stopped doing with this supposedly safe food) & they ADDED at the very bottom..CONTAINS BIOENGINEERED INGREDIENTS… I stopped eating them that day & have been fine ever since. SO BEWARE READ YOUR LABELS REGULARLY. WHY do companies do this ? Now I am down another food. UGH ! In retrospect Chex tastes good..

General Mills top priority is food safety and has been for over 150 years. Whenever we manufacture gluten-free products, we take specific steps to ensure that the process and equipment used does not provide any opportunity for gluten or gluten-containing ingredients to get into our products. General Mills has stringent programs and precautions in place to ensure the product meets gluten-free requirements. Foods often contain genetically modified/bioengineered (BE) ingredients in the U.S. Many of our products do as well. Bioengineered seeds have been approved by global food safety agencies and widely used by farmers for almost 20 years. If a food or beverage product lists corn, soy, canola, cottonseed or beet sugar as an ingredient and the product is not organic, it likely contains BE ingredients. In the U.S., the U.S. Department of Agriculture has created rules for how food packages should be labeled so that you know if they contain BE foods or ingredients. At General Mills, we use the allowed text under the rule. As a result, some of our food produced in the U.S. will now have a statement on pack like “Contains a bioengineered food ingredient” based on the product formula. If you are looking to avoid BE ingredients, you can check out our many brands that offer organic and non-GMO foods including Annie’s, Cascadian Farm, Liberté, Lärabar, and Muir Glen.

Chocolate piece in Corn Chex — allergy concern
My husband eats rice or corn Chex. He has a severe nut allergy. Since Chex’s corn and rice cereals do not have nuts or contamination wanting, he eats those. Today he had a bowl of Chex corn cereal and had a piece of chocolate in it. It is concerning since Chex makes a peanut butter type. If a chocolate piece gets in, will a peanut butter one make its way in? Also the chocolate cereal may have a peanut warning but since we didn’t buy that type of cereal we have no idea. He could have had a severe reaction and died. He decided that he will no longer be able to eat Chex as it cannot be trusted.
