Grunting Hedgehog Dog Plush Toy - Boots & Barkley™

This hedgehog lasted less than a week. On the first day our 30 pound puggle chewed a bunch of hair off it, and we had to pull the hair out of her mouth. I spent an hour trimming the hair as short as I could for safety, but a few days later she chewed one of the ears off, exposing the stuffing, so we threw it out. We have old toys from our previous dog that she hasn't made a dent in, so this toy is not durable at all.

Both of my dogs love their hedgehog! It seems well made and is holding up well even when they play rough with it.

This toy is super cute! My dog immediately got excited when she saw it. She can be an aggressive chewer at times as she's a 7 month old golden retriever. It has withstood her hours of play with little no damage.

It's bigger than I expected which is a plus for two dogs over 50 pounds. As of right now, the toy is holding up to them playing with it and tugging at it. I worry that the paws and feet will get pulled off and the hair is long so that does get pulled out. It's last a couple of pretty good play sessions but I'm not sure it will last much more than that.

My dog loves this guy! She ripped the stuffing out of it immediately to get to the grunting squeaker. It took her a day or two to get that out, and we eventually had to toss it, but it doesn’t matter! She still loves the empty carcass of this hedgehog and will gladly run for it when she is excited, bringing it to you as though it’s a fluffy, brand-new toy. I catch her still tossing it in the air or chewing it on her own, and I know it still has some life left! If your dog eats fluff this might not be the sturdiest for you- thankfully ours just rips it out, so she can still enjoy the toy for quite some time!

From the minute my younger dog saw this, he was in love. This super cute hedgehog is soft and durable even after being carried everywhere, no damage to the soft belly. This guy had a funny but weird grunting sound (that sounded like someone passing gas), but that stopped working about 2 weeks in- I was okay with that. If you are looking for a noise though, this might not be the one for you. Very cute little hedgehog, it is my dogs new baby!

My dog loves his hedgehog! It was bigger than I expected. I don't know I guess I thought it would be small but it's almost as big as he is! It's well made and so far has held up to his playing with it. It's not coming apart nor has any holes ripped into it yet. Hopefully it stays that way! The grunting the hedgehog does is a little difficult for it to do as you have to have a lot of movement to get it to make the noises. But despite that my dog loves it and I find him playing with it often! Overall, a great toy for your pup and I recommend!

This dog toy is adorable and very soft. My dog is medium size, about 50 lbs, and is a super chewer with toys/bones. Unfortunately, she riped a hole and all the stuffing/squeaker out of this hedgehod in 10 minutes. She was very excited about her new toy and enjoyed it while it lasted. I would definitely recommend this toy for non-super chewers as they would be able to use the toy for much longer.
