Product Care:
The BassiNest base should be cleaned regularly by using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth. Do not use bleach. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse clean with water. Allow to dry completely before use.
Care for pad:
Cover: Remove cover. Wash before use. Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Wash separately. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Foam core:
Spot clean only. Do not submerge in water. Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Mesh sides:
Remove mesh from BassiNest. Machine wash cold with like colors, gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
Soothing system requires 3 AA batteries (not included.)
Safety Reminder:
Detachable nest should ONLY be used while baby is awake and parent is Detachable nest should ONLY be used while baby is awake and supervised. Baby should not sleep in nest when detached from base or be left unattended. Do not detach nest or move it around the house while baby is inside. When detached, nest should ONLY be used on the floor. Do not use on raised or unlevel surfaces.
Discontinue use of this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 20lbs, whichever comes first.
Always place your baby on their back for sleep. Never use soft bedding such as loose blankets, bumpers, pillows, and positioners in the BassiNest. The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests the use of wearable blankets to keep your baby warm.

Stand takes up so much room and our bed doesn’t let it go partially on our mattress as shown in some of the promotional images. Our son actually never really liked it and was awake within 10-15 minutes of placing him in it - he actually preferred the much cheaper pack and play bassinet insert on our play pen. When he’d startle and wasn’t swaddled his arms would hit the side waking him since it is so narrow. So if you do get it and use it, swaddling is almost required which doesn’t really work for our family with him being born in there heat of summer unless you want a huge AC bill….

It is large enough to hold our baby comfortably yet easy enough to move from room to room. I like that I can adjust the height of the bassinet as well. If I have the bassinet near my bed I tend to lower the bassinet so it is easier to get our daughter from. If I bring the bassinet to the main level and I am cleaning and that, I raise the bassinet up so it is easier to get my daughter out of it. I also like the fact that the front folds down somewhat as well to help get the child out. This bassinet is great! I wish I had it for all my children! Go buy yourself one! I did receive this product as part of a stellar product testing panel.

The lights barely illuminate, the audio is awful and quiet (hatch is much better) and the “vibration” mimics nothing natural for baby so it’s useless for soothing. Overall 0 stars. Not worth the up charge for the light/audio/vibration mechanism.

My baby loves his bassinet. Its comfortable and convenient. You can swivel the bassinet to lay right next to you bedside. I had a c section so this came in handy during recovery, I did not have to get off my bed to reach for baby. Love the vibrations and music.
