Description

With the Hamilton Beach® Electric Indoor Searing Grill, there’s no need to fire up an outdoor grill to get great grilled flavor. The indoor grill features a high searing temperature of 450°F that locks in juices and flavor and makes everything you sear — steak, burgers, fish, chicken and pork chops — taste delicious. Best of all, food won't stick to the grill plate since it has a nonstick surface. The Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill is easy to use so you can grill with confidence. To sear food, simply plug it in and turn the temperature dial all the way up to sear. When the Hamilton Beach Electric Indoor Searing Grill reaches 450°F, the green indicator light will glow. When you want to use a lower grilling temperature or grill small pieces of food, the searing grill has adjustable temperature control and a special grilling section on the right for small portions. The removable grill plate has a PFAS-free nonstick surface. The grill plate, extra-large drip tray and removable cover all go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup.

Q: Is the grill perfectly smokeless? My apartment has sensitive smoke alarms.

  • A: I love this grill and use it 3-4 times per week I have gone through 6 of these grills in the last 5 years they do not last long. I recommend not putting it in the dishwasher and yes it's smokeless

    Surprising indoor grill

    Honestly doubted its indoor capabilities but its right on par with an outdoor grill minus some cooking time which its only downside as as well as shirt plug but i assume they dont want you to trip and fall. Minimal smoke a fan is rarely needed and its pretty quiet.Love the see thru cover so I can watch cooking process from time to time without opening the lid.Did I mentions grill and tray and dish washer safe(first rack ONLY)

    Well Designed and Easy to Use

    I’m very pleased with my decision to replace an icky old gas grill with this convenient indoor searing grill. I received it today, washed it and grilled a salmon fillet—perfectly seared. Holds plenty of food for 2 people. No worries about running out of fuel, and cleanup was easy. I’ve owned other indoor grills over the years but this indoor searing grill is the most thoughtfully designed and well made. There’s nothing cheap looking about it. My only wish is that the electric cord were a foot or two longer.

    Happy grilling

    I live in a small apartment and have missed the opportunity to grill. This indoor grill well not exactly the same as barbecuing outside. Definitely approximate grilling as much as you could expect without using an outdoor charcoal grill. I grill turkey burgers, and salmon. I am very happy with this product.

    Perfect Grilling but a little large and more clean up involved

    I am pleased with how my Hamilton Beach indoor grill grills the proteins.Only drawbacks are this grill is larger than the one I replaced and more clean up is involved since I have to clean the cover in addition to the grill plate. My last one, which was smaller and had removable and reversible grill and griddle plates, was easier cleanup. I would like a smaller grill with less clean up involved.

    Nice small grill but not free from some issues

    Overall, it's a nice small grill. However, the back side of the grill plate got all stained after just two uses, and the stains won't come off. Also, the drip tray is made of cheap plastic that got all warped from the temperature of the hot grill. The tray would no longer close well because it is all bent and lost its original shape.
