Henckels Paradigm Stainless Steel Nonstick Fry Pan Set

I very rarely post any reviews. (Please read) But when I find something that shocks me, I have to share. I purchased the Henckels Paradigm set about 8 months ago, and have thoroughly enjoyed cooking them and have had great luck. I have a gas stove and my past pans have had difficulty heating up in a acceptable time but reviews have said these do, and they have proven to. I realized these are slightly thinner than HexClad but the reduced time to heat up and boil water has been made cooking that much better. They have performed exceptionally well for frying, browning, sauteing, etc. and I really like the larger embossed handles, and the polished stainless that exemplifies the quality. Now for the story..............I was in a rush cooking one night for the family and was distracted with phone conversations and such, and was using the 4 1/2 qt sauté pan with a steam basket to steam some veggies. I turned the burner on high an let the pan an basket do its thing. When a came back about 10mins later, the lid was steaming a little, but not like other times. I disregarded and went back to the other cooking. After another 5 mins, I checked the vegetables and they seemed a little soft so I decided to shut off the burner and let rest. When I came to remove the food, I was appalled to find that I forgot to add ANY water to the pan before steaming. "The pan had sat on the high burner for 15+ mins with no moisture except from the vegetables!!!" The bottom of the pan was scorched with black and brown crust and discoloration. I was furious that I was so stupid to forget the water. I figured, "whelp, there goes that pan!" I left the pan on the stove to cool before I was going to throw it in the trash. After dinner, I took the pan to the sink and said "what the hey!" I will try and clean it, so I took a dish brush with a little Dawn 1st, and I was STUNNED that all the crust and discoloration came right off! I checked the pan carefully and there was no damage to the stainless or the non-stick coating AT ALL! So, it thought for sure then it would be warped and it sat as flat as a pancake on the counter top. I have used since and it performs just the same as before the scorching. If that does not say something about the durability and performance of this pan, then nothing does! I am thoroughly happy with these pans and hope they continue production if I ever need another set.

I got theses pans on a bit of a whim, last Christmas (after my former non-stick pan was...harmed by a family member I will not name.) It has performed beyond my expectations. Does feel like a hybrid pan, almost all of the benefits of a stainless pan, with some of the convenience of a non-stick pan. Have not experienced any flaking of coating, nor warping of the pan. Use them daily. Cooking various type of eggs is always my goto to testing a non-stick pan. I do scrambled, fried, omelets. All without issue. The directions do tell the user to always use a fat before cooking directly on the surface. Following this has so far lead to nothing but success for me. I was bracing myself that I would be let down with this pan as much as previous non-sticks. I have yet to be disappointed.

The Paradigm pans look cool in the store. The in-store demos are convincing. However, in practice, the pans aren't all that great. I've never been able to cook eggs without creating a mess of stuck-on egg pieces. The large pan has bowed up in the middle and makes it impossible to get butter, olive oil, or any type of sauce to stay evenly distributed across the pan.

I bought this in 2024 and have been using it to fry eggs regularly and saute vegetables now and then. But its non-stick coating started to peel off, and it was not even after 1 year of use. The non-stick warranty is for 2 years. And the website says heat resistant up to 500°F. I have been using it in less than 500°F heat but the pan is bending from the middle (which is fine) but the non stick is peeling off. That bothers me a lot. Be careful what you buy.

Purchased thus set of hexclad after reading reviews. Pans were great for a time. After 10 months nonstick was gone and everything stickz

Outstanding, no stick, metal utensils it's Bulletproof, great for browning steak or for breakfast omelette. I travel for the government and bring the small pan with me when I'm traveling so that I might fix my breakfast or eat a small steak instead of going to a restaurant.

I bought this set for myself, empty nester that cooks for my wife a I. Have gone through tons of pans over the yeas as a single full time dad then with blended family. These fry pans are great and I cook everyday and I am a southerner so a lot of different varieties of foods. They are not the type of pan that lets you swirl and egg aound 1min after cracking it (who does that) but it releases like a good steel pan but much better and heats like a steel pan. I liked mine so much I have bought my son a set, as he is the cook in his house like his dad. My daughter just visiting said she needed a new set of pans, had not told her I bought her brother one, so I am now buying another set for her. They were all in for labor day with my 9 grandchildren. Smoker, grill and cook top all working overtime. LOL Pans are good.

I've had these pans for about a year to a year and a half they haven't scratched and my wife still hasn't worked it or crushed the outside and made it not round. And they are although or not non-stick they work just as well

I have enjoyed using these hybrid pans. I am.glad they have smooth stainless steel exteriors that cannot scratch my glass cooktop, as has been reported with pans that have hybrid patterns on the exterior and inferior surfaces. I wish you would make a 14" wok that is as affordable as your fry pans.
