18 Years Later, We Bought Henckels Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased a new Henckels 15-piece knife set after using our previous Henckels set for 18 years, which says a lot about the quality of these knives. Our old set held up incredibly well over the years, so when it was finally time to replace it, buying Henckels again was an easy decision. The new set feels well made, the knives are sharp and comfortable to use, and it has everything we need for everyday cooking. If this set lasts anywhere near as long as our last one, we’ll be more than happy. Definitely a brand we trust and would recommend!

Excellent knives so far

Just received these in the mail, washed and used to make dinner. Excellent set of knives so far. Very sharp so be careful of course. Can’t wait to revisit this review in a few months. Hopefully they don’t rust and degrade!

Great variety

Really like this set! We had our last Henckels for 15+ years and it served us well. The steak knives are great, especially compared to our old set. All the knives have a good weight to the them. I think it has a great variety of knives. They cut well and I love that their dishwasher safe.

Horrible knives

Worst knives ever. We got these as a gift, but I have been cut more with these knives than any other knives. They are sharp right by the handle and that's where I keep getting cut. They are cheap for a reason, in addition they don't cut straight, they get dull easily, don't waste your money on these.

Timeless knife block set

We received this knife block set as a wedding gift. The light wood block color looks great in our kitchen. We cook a lot and can’t wait to use these knives! I know we will get a lot of use out of them.

Not the quality I expected

After using two of the steak knives once to cut steak, I discovered some sort of a discoloration or tint on the blades. The blades of the smaller knives, such as the steak knives are sort of thin.

Love the grip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently purchased this set and so happy that I did. This is replacing bits and pieces of knives that I have had throughout the years. Happy to say this is my first Henckels set of knives. The are extremely well made, and I love that it has a sharpening tool with it and a pair of cutlery scissors. I can tell that they will give me years of ease of cutting. No more depending on the old ones to do the job.
